Asad Siddiqi, DO, CAQSM, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Rehabilitation Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College with board certification in rehabilitation medicine and primary care sports medicine. He specializes in the comprehensive management of acute and chronic sports injuries, concussion care, and injury prevention. Dr. Siddiqi serves as Team Physician for the City College of New York, the United Nations International School, and several youth sport and performing arts organizations. He is an advocate for healthy lifestyles and physical activity promotion and firmly believes that everybody is an athlete.
Dr. Siddiqi completed his undergraduate education at New York University. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from A.T. Still University, Mesa. While attending medical school, he cultivated an interest in sports medicine and functional optimization. He completed an internship at Maimonides Medical Center and a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at New York University Elaine A. and Kenneth G. Langone Medical Center, Rusk Rehabilitation Center.
He then pursued fellowship training in Primary Care Sports Medicine at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas at Greenville Health System, where he served as team physician for local high schools, the Greenville Drive (Single-A Affiliate of the Boston Red Sox), North Greenville University athletics (NCAA Division II), and USA Karate.
Dr. Siddiqi’s expertise in physical rehabilitation techniques is augmented by his use of ultrasound for diagnostic and interventional guidance. He maintains active membership in several professional societies, including the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and the Association of Academic Physiatrists, which allows him to stay on the cutting edge of evidence-based treatment principles.

Dr Siddiqi is great. He is very attentive and respectful. Very knowledgeable and good at explaining things simply. It is a little difficult to get help from his office or answers to any questions after the appointment is over. But I am still grateful that I found a good doctor not too far from where I live.

Everything went quickly and smoothly. The X-ray machine was on site and my images were available for the doctor to review within minutes. The doctor was gentle, explained everything clearly and patiently answered all my questions. I will be adding him to my list of highly recommended physicians.

Highly recommend. One of the best experiences with an MD in NYC that I've ever had. He masked for the appointment due to my request and we discussed my symptoms and he took into account the other "multifactorial" elements in providing a clear diagnosis and PT referral. I look forward to eventual follow up.
My only criticism of the office is not a single other healthcare worker was masked which makes no sense at this time given the pandemic is not over and both elderly and at-risk, immunocompromised patients come into the office. I urge the office to not only protect their patients but to protect themselves. 50% of cases of CoV-SARS-2 at this time are asymptomatic and COVID/SARS we know leads to serious disease. Each reinfection increases the risk of long COVID, which is a debilitating and disabling post-viral disease condition. I hope people will be masked next visit because the community, and staff, we all deserve to be shielded from infection!!!

The staff is friendly. Paloma is a breath of fresh air when you arrive at the front desk. The entire staff is a pleasure and I always love visiting this office. I love the fact that the doctor listens to my complaint. He is no way makes it seem like I am making stuff up and actually validated my feelings.

Dr. Siddiqi is extremely knowledgeable and is skilled at breaking complex medical processes into understandable language. His office has the latest technology right on site so I didn't need to schedule additional appointments. The Kings Highway facility is brand new, gorgeous, spotless and staffed with lovely people.
