My background spans hospital, academic, and community mental health settings, where I’ve cared for clients managing both acute and chronic psychiatric conditions. I’ve also served in intensive care units, nursing education and leadership roles, helping shape the next generation of nursing professionals. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to treating the whole person, the mind, body, and spirit rather than just the symptoms. I graduated from the University of Maryland's School of Nursing and received my Post-Master's certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Wilkes University's Passan School of Nursing. I am Board-Certified through the American Nurse Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I pride myself on providing the most up-to-date, evidence-based care to my patients and maintain consistent membership and interaction with colleagues in the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, and the Nurse Practitioner Association of Maryland, Inc. Clients often describe my approach as down-to-earth, compassionate, and empowering.
