About Dr. Ashlee Bannister
Chiropractor
Dr. Ashlee Bannister grew up in the Tampa Bay area. As a child, she was involved in dance classes and acrobatics, during which she was injured, leading to constant low back pain. At the time, she did not have access to chiropractic care and eventually had to quit acrobatics because of her pain. Since then, she found chiropractic care, which has completely resolved her low back pain and her headaches too! She has a passion for making sure people of all ages can experience the incredible benefits of chiropractic care so that they're able to continue enjoying their activities and living their lives to the fullest.
Education
Dr. Bannister attended the University of South Florida, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences. GO BULLS! She went on to attend Life University in Marietta, GA, where she graduated as the Salutatorian of her class Summa Cum Laude with her Doctorate of Chiropractic. Dr. Bannister loves to take a gentle approach to adjusting and mainly utilizes Torque Release Technique (TRT), Thompson Drop Technique, Webster, Activator, and Diversified.
Dr. Bannister and her husband now live in Dunedin, FL, with their dog, Teddie. When not seeing patients, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family at the beach, having game nights, and exploring local restaurants. She can also be found attending the Tampa Bay Lightning, Buccaneers, and USF football games.

The entire facility is a very positive environment. The front office staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Banster is amazing. Their technique for adjustments is less invasive than other chiropractors I have been to in the past but I feel like the benefits provided from the adjustments far exceed what I experienced in the past. I came seeking relief from chronic neck pain and migraines and have experienced a profound difference in my comfort level and number of migraines I experienced after just a few sessions.

This was my first chiropractor visit and I was very nervous. Everything was explained throughout the entire process with consistent check ins to see if I had any questions.
Dr. Bannister was extremely gentle while adjusting and walks you through what she’s doing as she does it while also having explained each step prior to starting.
I had zero pain during my adjustment from anything she was doing.
I do have soreness afterwards but that is completely normal as your body gets used to treatment .
My anxiety around the spine is intense- I never thought I’d go see a chiropractor and I’m surprised I even made it after the X-rays and did a full session- this is all due to how comfortable the entire office makes you feel. I will be waiting before returning but this has nothing to do directly with Dr Bannister or her team, they are excellent at what they do and I hope to return soon!

Dr. Ashlee is wonderful. I've been going to chiropractors my entire life and she has one of the best bedside manners of any practitioner I've seen. Her clear explanations of what my body was doing and why I was experiencing the symptoms I was experiencing was great and I could clearly see the problems. I am sad that my insurance plan is not accepted at this office, so, other than my first visit, I won't be continuing. However, having seen her twice, I highly recommend her.

I’m grateful to have found Dr. Bannister at Farkas Chiropractic. I was searching for a same day appointment on ZocDoc and found the office. I had low back pain and she set me up with a plan and it’s truly been a wonderful experience in healing my pain but also preventative care once I’m ‘fixed’.
