This client may be nervous, apprehensive, or even scared about a possible mental health diagnosis, which is okay. The client may have issues or illnesses regarding depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, personality, mood, psychosis, or substance abuse. The ideal client desires to be heard and cared for in a professional, compassionate, and non-judgmental manner. They should also be educated on their treatment options, which may include medication management, therapy, and lifestyle changes. I hold a Master's degree in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Wilkes University. I help clients by completing initial psychiatric evaluations and follow-up appointments, where I gather subjective and objective data to develop a patient-centered treatment plan. During visits, I also provide 1:1 counseling, crisis intervention, medication education, lifestyle changes, sleep hygiene, and other applicable topics to aid in their treatment. Mental health needs more "unashamed conversation." So, let's talk about it. Be open and honest about how you feel, and I will ensure your emotions are seen, and your voice is heard during your treatment. I am a compassionate practitioner who will care for your psychiatric needs wholeheartedly.
