Ashley Dominique, MS, PA-C, is a nationally certified physician assistant who received her training at Rush University in Chicago, Illinois. Ashley practices medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology and sees both pediatric and adult patients. She specializes in treating various skin conditions such as acne, contact dermatitis, eczema, warts, actinic keratosis, rosacea, skin infections, psoriasis, and skin cancer detection, and she has experience with various aesthetic treatments including injectables, microneedling, and laser treatment. She is skilled in other procedures such as biopsies, suturing, incision and drainage, and cryotherapy.
Ashley takes pride in her work and strives to provide the highest quality of care for her patients. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) and American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). In addition, Ashley also practices virtual urgent care on a part-time basis to give more variety to her medical practice. She joined the California Skin Institute team after relocating to San Diego in April from the San Francisco Bay Area where she was previously practicing dermatology for several years. In her off time, she enjoys swimming and running with her Australian Shepherd dog.

Dr. Ashley and Dr. Jack always listen. And both are super kind. Other derms just push meds on ya but they both work with you to get the treatment that works best for you. Dr. Jack gave me a handshake which made me feel better and having psoriasis and eczema made me feel completely comfortable. Dr. Ashley listens and explains everything twice which sometimes I need. You can get seen most of time same day. Or get seen right away. All the staff are super sweet and personable. They have few free samples for skin in the waiting area.

Ashley Dominique, PA is an exceptional provider . She addressed all my concerns , listened intently, very kind and knowledgeable about my dermatology needs . I suffer with cystic acne and did accutane with her a year prior and needed to go on the medication a second time . She made the starting process quick and answered any questions I had . She even treated my flare ups of a few cystic pimples by a steroid injection . She will even make you laugh if nervous. I highly recommend her !

I found a bump on my head and didn't know what it was so I booked an appointment with Ashley. It was a great experience. I only waited for 10 minutes or so before she was able to see me and she diagnosed my bump quickly. The office location is easy to find and the staff communicated in a very professional/friendly manner. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for skin treatment help!
