Getting to know Ashley Fenton
As a dual-certified primary care and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, as well as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe in taking a biopsychosocial approach to care. Our physical and mental health are closely intertwined and influenced by social and environmental factors. I earned my Master's in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Johns Hopkins University, which has deeply informed my holistic perspective.
My practice experience includes community psychiatry, weight management, mental health research, psychiatric emergency room care, eating disorders, mood disorders, and most recently, running a primary care clinic embedded within an outpatient mental health clinic. This diverse background has prepared me to provide fully integrated care, taking a whole-person approach to treatment.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
