About Ashley Fortenberry

I have appreciatively practiced nutrition therapy for over a decade. It has been a joy to work with a variety of patients and witness the resolution of their nutrition-related concerns. I earned my Bachelor's in Nutritional Sciences: Dietetics from the University of California, Berkeley. In addition to being a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, I hold specialty certification in diabetes as a Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist (CDCES). I successfully provide insight into the pathophysiology of diabetes, insulin pumps/injection management, and nutrition therapy for blood sugar enhancement. Additional specialty areas include (but are not limited to) eating disorders/disordered eating (pediatric and adult), PCOS, vegetarianism/veganism, pediatrics (including premature infants, infants, toddlers, and teens), and pregnancy. I am confident that you know your body and its experience better than I ever could. I am humbled and fascinated by the science of nutrition and delight in utilizing it to improve human health.
