Getting to know Ashley Lowe

PLEASE NOTE: I PROVIDE EVALUATION AND TREATMENT FOR ADHD BUT DO NOT PRESCRIBE STIMULANT MEDICATIONS. I MAY PRESCRIBE NON-STIMULANT MEDICATIONS AND OTHER CONTROLLED MEDICATIONS IN TEXAS WHEN CLINICALLY APPROPRIATE. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) providing patient-centered mental health care across the lifespan. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, eating disorders, mood concerns, stress, and other mental health challenges. My goal is to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care that supports each patient’s mental health and overall well-being.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You can expect a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental approach. I believe your experiences, values, and goals should be an important part of your care. I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and supportive therapy, while encouraging open communication throughout treatment.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first telehealth visit focuses on understanding your concerns, history, current symptoms, and treatment goals. We then develop an individualized treatment plan, which may include psychotherapy, medication management when appropriate, and practical strategies to support your well-being. Follow-up visits focus on your progress, any challenges or concerns, and adjustments to your treatment plan as needed. I also provide education and use validated screening tools when appropriate to help monitor progress and guide care.
