Her work across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient psychiatric settings gave her a deep respect for the complexity of mental health and for meeting patients where they are. At Pondworks, Ashley practices Psychodynamically-Informed Medical Care. She treats the whole person rather than a symptom list to be matched to a prescription, and she does not work in isolation. Her care is grounded in more than 500 hours a year of supervision and case discussion with supervising psychiatrist Dr. Bernard Kim, MD, so the thinking behind your care reflects more than one mind. This is a deliberate alternative to the 15-minute med check. Ashley believes that feeling understood is often the first step toward healing, and she works to create a calm, nonjudgmental space where you can explore challenges at your own pace. Her first visits are consultations rather than a rush toward an immediate prescription, and the relationships she builds are meant to last, often through the chapters of life. Outside of work, she enjoys rock climbing, live music, and time with friends and family. Ashley joined Pondworks Psychiatry and Psychotherapy in December 2025.
