About Dr. Ashley Williams
Ashley Williams received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from the Northeast College of Health Sciences (formerly New York Chiropractic College) and completed her clinical chiropractic education at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. She also holds a Master’s degree in ergonomics and biomechanics from New York University, two Bachelor’s degrees in engineering and physics from Columbia University and Jacksonville University and an Associate of Occupational Studies in massage therapy from Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences, where she has served as an adjunct professor. She currently serves as an instructor of massage therapy and biosciences at the Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage.
Dr. Williams specializes in athletic performance and rehabilitation. She also has specializations in gait analysis and orthotics, ergonomic interventions and preventative healthcare. Before becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Williams spent over 10 years in the health and wellness industry, working as a certified personal trainer and licensed massage therapist in elite gyms and spas as well as non-profit organizations across New York City.
Her philosophy in treating patients is a holistic approach where every “body” requires individualized and specific treatment and care plans. Dr. Williams believes incorporating multiple treatment modalities yields the best results for her patients and incorporates both passive and active therapies into her care plans. She uses therapies such as chiropractic adjustments, dry needling, myofascial release, muscle scraping, Activator, SOT, pin and stretch techniques, manual traction, nutritional interventions, ergonomic interventions, electric stimulation and therapeutic exercises.
Her personal athletic accomplishments include multiple collegiate and high school track and field awards as well as over 13 years training in various forms of dance. She competed on season 7 and season 8 of the hit TV show American Ninja Warrior.

Dr. Williams was amazing. From beginning to end. She listened to all the issues with my back, she addressed and explained everything thoroughly. She was very kind and her bedside manners were very good too. I am so excited to finally think I may have found a chiropractor that can help me as I have had back issues for years. I've seen massage therapists, other chiropractors and its always just a temporary fix. I am so tired of taking pain meds and not getting to the root of my issues. I have never had the foot scan and evaluation as Dr. Williams had done on me. All the others just adjust, do tens and apply heat that I likely shouldn't have been getting and get sent on my way. She spent a great amount of time with me and I appreciate everything she did for my first visit because I will be back for more sessions. I can't wait for the long term results of what's to come with my back.

Ashley is amazing! She had great communication leading up to the appointment. The office has a calming energy and she greeted me as soon as I arrived. She explained everything she was going to do and why before she did the movement. She also checked in with me continuously throughout the appointment to make sure I was doing good. She even provided me with exercises to do at home to help with my pain. I highly recommend!!
