Getting to know Ashley Womack

Ashley Womack is an out-of-network provider. Hi there! I'm Ashley, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I've been practicing in the behavioral health field for 10 years. My mission as a psychiatric provider is to deliver safe and integrative mental healthcare interventions aimed at identifying the root causes of various mental health conditions. I specialize in treating clients with perinatal and women's mental health needs (anxiety, ADHD, depression, OCD, PMDD, PTSD, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders). Currently, I'm accepting clients in Pennsylvania and Delaware (ages 18 to 65) for medication management and individual psychotherapy. As an integrative psychiatry provider, I aim to provide safe and compassionate care that is tailored to my clients' individualized needs. I offer my clients comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, in-depth psychoeducation sessions, and individual psychotherapy sessions. I am intimately aware of the challenges that accompany life's journey through womanhood, whether it is beginning college as a freshman, receiving your first job promotion, or planning to start a family. As a mental health advocate, I am dedicated to sharing knowledge and therapeutic tools that empower my clients to gain autonomy over their mental health!

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients can expect to receive ongoing positive feedback on their treatment progress while receiving therapeutic guidance as we actively work together to achieve their mental healthcare goals. Most importantly, YOU'RE essential to the success of your treatment plan. Through positive communication and continued collaboration, our providers are dedicated to guiding you through your mental healthcare journey.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first 60-90 minute visit, there will be a focus on building a positive therapeutic alliance between the provider and the client. At this initial session, we will discuss the client’s current psychiatric symptoms, past psychiatric history, social history, and past medical history. The initial comprehensive psychiatric evaluation will aid in the formulation of an accurate mental health diagnosis and assist the provider and client with collaborating on an individualized treatment plan. In our 30 minute medication follow-up visit, we focus on continued assessment of the client’s presenting psychiatric symptoms, assessment of potential notable or adverse side effects, and evaluating how the client is responding to their medication treatment plan. *At the medication management follow-up visit, clients will have the opportunity to discuss any possible treatment modifications and receive additional medication refills.
