Dr. Ashlie Klavon is a Chiropractor and licensed Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Practitioner with additional training in herbal medicine from both the western and eastern medicine traditions. She has a passion for educating the world about the importance of preventative medicine for lasting health and quality of life. She believes her role as a practitioner is to partner with you and walk along side you in your health journey, giving you the tools you need and empowering you to tune into your body and take charge of your health and healing journey. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Integrative Therapeutic Practices from Metropolitan State University, a Master of Science in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture from Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. She has additional training in fertility, nutritional endocrinology, treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, pharmacology and supplements and their uses. While pursuing her education, Ashlie worked for several years at natural grocers and also with several supplement education companies, and has been in the alternative health field for over 13 years. In addition to her role as a practitioner, Dr. Ashlie is currently working as an instructor at Nutrition Therapy Institute, teaching and helping with curriculum development for several courses. In her spare time, Ashlie enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 wonderful children - going hiking, camping and snowboarding. She also enjoys running and having family game nights.
