Driven to dismantle the stigma surrounding mental health, I have dedicated the past six years to providing compassionate psychiatric care. After witnessing the transformative power of mental health treatment, I answered the call to further my expertise, enrolling at Walden University to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Drawing on my experience has helped me to gain knowledge to treat a variety of mental illnesses starting at age 6. When providing care, my approach is to collaborate closely with the client to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that will yield the most positive outcome possible. I firmly believe that the client's input and perspective are essential, so I make it a priority to actively listen to their concerns, goals, and preferences throughout the process. My role is to work together with the client as an equal partner, guiding them while also being receptive to their feedback and ideas.
