Patient reviews for Dr. Atsuko Kodama
Great doctor. Very knowledgeable
It was quick visit
She is very attentive and listens to what you say without any rushing, friendly and nice and a very clean office and waiting rooms, I would definitely recommend her and there is a large parking lot too
Very helpful. Saw difference right away. Healing started immediately.
Dr K was great with my 5 year old daughter , she was scared about wart treatment hurting. Dr K was very sweet and made sure she was ok through out.
The doctor is ok and the staff is ok but the waiting time is extremely long.
Very professional and helpful with my acne condition. She also gave me a lot of information.
The assistant Joy and Dr. Kodama were very friendly and explained the recommended treatment step by step. Dr. Kodama also explained possible secondary treatment if the initial treatment isn’t successful. I truly appreciate the time they both took to make me feel comfortable.
First time experience was awesome!
Very nice Dr! Very kind and easy to talk to. Explained things very well. Highly recommended
The doctor was quick, thorough, and accurate. She made relevant suggestions and answered my questions. I only waited about 5 minutes to see her and left with what I needed. Parking was easy and I would definitely go back.
I found Dr. Kodama on ZocDoc, was able to get an appointment the following day, and had all my concerns put to ease in a prompt and caring matter. Highly recommend!
I was pleased with my experience in the office today and would recommend this doctor to friends and family. Very nice visit and was able to take care of my condition.
So knowledgeable and quick. Would definitely come back
The doctor was kind and genuinely concerned for my well being. She explained everything clearly and answered all of my questions.
Fully explained what was going on and recommended treatment for now... will follow up in a few months ...
I was very pleased to be able to get an appointment within two days of going on Zocdoc. I had a rash on the top of my foot went to my family doctor and she didn’t no what it was gave me creams nothing worked and then she sent me to a foot doctor and she didn’t no what it was gave me cream that didn’t work. When I was seen by Dr. Kodama I was so happy as soon as she looked at it she told me what it was. Would recommend her to anyone. Her staff was very friendly too.
I feel like the staff or very knowledgeable.
It was good
This was the shortest visit ever at a doctor's office for me. The doctor looked at my skin and listened to my concern problems. She educated me on what to look for on my skin and to continue to protect my skin from the sun like I was already doing. I'm not sure if there was suppose to be a more thorough exam needed but I have been reading the brochure that was given to me. I wished she had late hour appointments.
Great doctor very attentive
Everyone was very cordial and professional. The only wait time that I really experienced was of my referral not being there on time. I would recommend her to everyone.
Absolutely an amazing Doctor. Very attentive and explains in detail as to what your procedure will be. I recommend anyone to visit. Her staff is very upbeat and kind.
I liked Dr Kodama very much....very thorough with everything!!!!
Extremely informative. She took the time to explain things to me. Office staff very friendly as well.
Wonderful staff. Very professional. I was quite nervous going into this appointment as it was my first skin screening ever, and Dr. Kodama made me feel very comfortable. I left the office with some product samples for a trouble spot on my shoulder as well as plenty of information on safe skin practices and what to look out for in the future. A completely positive experience! I am so glad I found this office!
Let me start with the positives: Dr Kodama's staff was warm and professional. They helped to ease my 85 year old mother's nerves as they performed the procedure. The doctor herself was also very caring and patient with my mom, even taking over for her assistant to speed things up. I truly appreciate how they treated my mother. My only complaint would be that we waited over 30 minutes from our appointment time before we were taken to an exam room, though once we were in a room, we didn't have to wait too long for the doctor to come in. Overall, I would definitely recommended Dr Kodama.
It was great
I have been to about 6 doctors before her and no one could help me or tell me what was wrong. She was able to diagnose me and provide me with the care I needed in minutes. AMAZING! I am so happy I went to her
I am a retired surgeon and took a chance as the wait time for former colleagues in the field of dermatology is absurd. I had an appt with Dr. Kodama in less than 24 hours. The staff is great, the doctor is great. The best doctor's office experience I have had in a very long time.
She is very understanding and knowlegable about her field.
Dr. Kodama is very nice. She will great you openly that you wouldn't feel uncomfortable talking to her. Not like to others "M.D." who doesn't have the professionalism to deal with you emotionally. I am always hesitate to see or meet new doctor because its very hard to find a great doctor now a day who can deal with sensitivity to their patients. So, Dr. Atsuko Kodama is one of the old type MD who serve patient from the heart.
Rather than brushing me off when I came to her with a wicked sunburn (like I half expected), she gave me four prescriptions for medications that very quickly had me feeling 100% better. Dr. Kodama is a terrific doctor, and her staff is wonderful, too!
Very fruitful. Dr. Kodama gave me instructions how to treat my skin problem correctly and efficiently.
My appointment was for acne and scarring left by stitches. I gained more from a single appointment with Dr. Kodama than I have from many others over the years. She listened, discussed and examined with great detail. She gave me a perscription with a plan, an explanation for each step and a timeline. She went over my daily skin care routine and pointed out products that could cause breakouts. THE BEST PART was she gave me a list of drugstore health and beauty product options including facewash/masks, face lotions, sunscreens, and makeup (foundations/coverups/powders) with a check next to her first recommendation. This was a weight off my shoulder, in the form of not having to worry about what to use and not use or playing a guessing game about which product caused my sensitive skin to breakout! I also left with instructions, a foundation sample, sunscreen sample and coupons.
excellent mannerism; will refer to collagues and family
Wasnt quite what i was expecting. She came in after the Medical assistant compiled all of the notations from and began prescribing right away. I managed to ask several questions about my needs. She answered everything. Seems very knowledgeable. This is close to home. Will try to go again and see a different prespective. The staff there are wonderful.
Was seen quickly. English is not the doctor's first language and had some difficulty understanding her. But her assistant was there the whole time and able to clarify if I had a question. Solid, professional visit.
Good visit but she never sent my prescription to the pharmacy so I had to keep calling back to remind them to send it.
Amazing. Thorough. Got me in and out quickly.
Beautiful experience. She knows her stuff staff are personable and great . Will never go anywhere else.
Very nice and professional
The Doc was great! Told me what it was in less than a min. Showed me excellent information and pics.
Vey thorough. Took tome to explain my concerns in detail.
This has been by far the best dermatology experience I have had yet! The staff that I worked with seemed to be a direct reflection of Dr. Atsuko Kodama. They were all very knowledgeable, kind, attentive, patient, and positive. No matter what issue I had, they responded with a solution, a smile, and a confident we can help attitude. I actually am excited and hopeful after my experience, which is a first for me!!
I really enjoyed the calm atmosphere of the waiting area. This was my daughters first visit. She has Autism and they made her feel very welcomed!
