Audrey Rasiul, PMHNP

Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
NJ
I have over 30 years of experience in mental health nursing. I provide evidence-based, compassionate, and holistic care tailored to each individual's unique journey. My extensive background across the lifespan includes high-acuity partial hospitalization, inpatient care, crisis intervention, developmental pediatrics, and case management with vulnerable children in foster care. These experiences give me a deep understanding of the complex challenges my patients navigate. Since transitioning into the role of a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in 2020, I have focused primarily on supporting children, teens, and their families. While my heart lies in pediatric and family work, I also enjoy supporting young adults and those who are “young at heart.” I am particularly passionate about helping families manage mental health concerns. For children and adolescents who have been previously diagnosed with higher-functioning Autism, I help address co-occurring concerns such as ADHD, depression, and anxiety. I also advocate for students with mental health challenges and help secure the school accommodations they need to thrive. Other areas of interest include early childhood trauma and the effects across the lifespan. My goal is to see you as a whole person, not just a set of symptoms, and to ensure you feel respected and understood every step of the way. Outside of my practice, I recharge as an avid outdoorswoman. You can often find me mountain biking, fishing, clamming, or hiking-usually with my Brittany Spaniel, Sugar, by my side. Please note that at this time, I do not offer psychotherapy only. I do offer it as part of the medication management appointment. Additionally, NJ requires in-person visits for Schedule II medications, which include stimulant medications.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
