I've spent the last 6 years working as a Community Mental Health Nurse with underserved communities in the county who suffer from severe mental illnesses. During that time, I also completed the Post-Master's Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing program at the University of California, San Francisco. My areas of expertise are adults suffering from depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorders. From the start of my career, I realized that I have the responsibility to meet my clients where they are. My job is to meet my clients with compassion, empathy, and a great sense of respect at their most vulnerable times. My approach to patient care is collaborative, in partnership with my clients and colleagues. I am interested in learning from and understanding my clients, as they know themselves and their needs best, and together we can establish the best treatment options to help them achieve their treatment goals. I speak English and Spanish.
