What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is flexible and personalized, recognizing that every client brings their own experiences, strengths, and goals into the process. I integrate techniques from several therapeutic models, including Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Attachment-Based approaches, to create treatment that feels supportive and effective for each individual. I strive to foster a safe, collaborative environment where clients can feel empowered to better understand themselves, navigate challenges, and create meaningful change. I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels safe, supportive, and approachable for each client. I bring an outgoing personality into sessions and believe therapy can be both meaningful and engaging, using a style that is warm, direct, and authentic. Through a trauma-informed approach, I help clients feel understood while supporting them in building coping skills, increasing self-awareness, and working through life’s challenges in a way that feels empowering and supportive.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe therapy should be a safe, compassionate, and personalized space where people can process their own experiences without judgment, build upon their own strengths, and take a safe path towards healing and connection with themselves. Sessions with me are supportive, collaborative, and genuine. I aim to create an environment where you feel safe to be yourself while also feeling encouraged and challenged in meaningful ways. My style is warm, direct, and engaging, and I like to bring authenticity and humor into the therapy space when appropriate. I balance creating a comfortable atmosphere with helping you build insight, process emotions, and develop practical tools you can use outside of the session. I work at your pace while fostering growth, self-awareness, and resilience.
