Speech-Language Pathologist
GA
Hi! I’m Avery. I became a speech-language pathologist because I’m passionate about helping children communicate with confidence and connect with the people around them. I love partnering with families to support each child's growth and celebrate the meaningful milestones they achieve along the way. My clinical experience spans a variety of settings, where I’ve supported children with a wide range of communication needs. I enjoy creating individualized therapy plans that build on each child’s strengths and help them develop the skills they need to communicate confidently in everyday life. I’m committed to lifelong learning and regularly pursue continuing education in evidence-based practice. I have completed multiple LAMP Day One trainings and have led AAC overview trainings, strengthening my ability to support children who benefit from augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). My therapy approach is client-centered, family-centered, and highly individualized. I use strengths-based and routines-based strategies to promote communication beyond the therapy room while partnering closely with families to encourage carryover into daily life. I also incorporate sensory strategies to support regulation and engagement, with the goal of helping every child build confidence, independence, and meaningful communication skills.
