About Dr. Azam Shamani
Dr. Shamani is affiliated with Sharp Community Medical Group, which was voted Best of San Diego County in 2017 for the third year in a row! She is an individual physician who maintains her own private practice as well as hospital credentials.
We work hard and are dedicated to our patients’ care and well-being. Dr. Shamani is extremely attentive to detail and always goes out of her way to make sure her patients feel comfortable and are properly cared for. She is Board Certified in Family Practice and has extensive background and experience in the OB-GYN field. Additionally, she is a Designated Civil Surgeon.
Dr. Shamani earned her Doctor of Medicine from Tehran University of Medical Sciences School of Medicine, completed her Residency in Family Medicine at Kern Medical Center, and pursued a Fellowship in Cardiology at the University of California, Los Angeles. She speaks Farsi, and her staff speaks Spanish.
Her philosophy is to listen to her patients beyond their words, spending time to educate and explain diagnoses and what they mean for each patient. She believes teamwork and communication are key to better care and improved outcomes.
We have openings once a week for Botox and filler procedures and will soon offer Saturday cosmetic appointments as well. If you have any questions, you are welcome to schedule a free consultation under the Botox treatment office visit category. This consultation does not schedule you for the treatment itself—just the free consultation.
Anyone who refers a friend who receives treatment will receive 10 free units of Botox at their next Botox visit.
