Dr. Shamani was very helpful and had great insight as to what my ailments are and quick ideas that could help. She was very down to earth and didnt instill fear and hype as most doctors I think do. She was stable and matter of fact. I'll continue see her as my general practitioner.
Very happy that I chose Dr. Shamani as my PCP. She was very friendly, professional, and thorough during my initial visit. She attentively listened to everything I had to say and she clearly cares about my health. I highly recommend this physician.
As a practicing doctor myself, I am still in awe by Dr. Shamani's knowledge base and sincere care for her patients. She is an ideal example of why people practice medicine, and I would refer her to anyone!
Very comforting and staff was hospitable.
Appreciate Dr.Shamani working with me regarding unknown Copay. She is a very nice, caring woman.
WORST DOCTOR I'VE EVER VISITED! Unfortunately, I had to visit her twice- both time the wait time reached almost TWO HOURS! The worst part was probably when the doctor finally arrived and apologized for the waiting, when I naively said "it's ok, your staff told me you've been stuck on road behind an accident" and she replied "oh no, that's just what I told them to say because it sounds better" (?!?!?) Seriously unbelievable. She is a doctor who does not respect her patients and does not embarrassed to admit her lies to her patients.
The doctor and staff are very nice and went over all of my concerns. They called the pharmacy when I had a problem with a prescription. VERY happy and would highly recommend.
She is the best dr. that I've ever seen.
Azam Shamani is amazing!!
Dr. Shamani is a great professional, highly recommended.
There was no hand sanitizer in the room or outisde of it. Never did i see the md or staff clean their hands. And then i felt like the doctor didn't listen to me and called in 2 prescriptions i didnt need. Frustrating overall experience when your sick. Ill be changing to a different pcp for sure.
She is an excellent doctor who listens to all your concerns. Her staff is also professional and eager to assist.
Great doctor, great Customer service. Highly recommended.
She seemed really impatient with me, she was sighing heavily after she asked me a question that I couldn't understand and I felt she was rushing me out of her room
Dr. Shamani is an amazing Dr. she really cares, listens, and gives you her full undived attention, she will also take as long as she needs to help you in the best way possible. I would definitely recommend Dr. Shamani to anyone who needs a excellent Dr.
Such a pleasant visit every time I see Dr. Shamani! She definitely takes great care of her patients!!!
Dr. Shamani is an excellent doctor with great demeanor and care. I highly recommend her to anyone wanting a doctor who takes their time, shows they care, and always makes sure their patients understand their next steps.
Really loved her professionalism. She is a great doctor and served my special needs.
She is clear, assertive and patient until you understand all the information or questions that you may have.
I was very excited to come here with how great the reviews are, but the experience was terrible. When approaching the desk, I said I had an appointment and the response was "ok." and they just looked at me. I then asked if I needed to sign in and the normal process began. I was charged over triple what my copay should be. I didn't see the total until my card had already been swiped and I thought I made a mistake in how much the copay should be so I didn't dispute it. I thought I was coming in for a full exam, but all she did was take my vitals, fill my rxs, and give me a flu shot. She had me schedule a follow up for my exam that I thought I'd be having today, with another copay. She gave me a paper to go to a lab, where I'll probably be charged once again. So, I will have to go to 3 different appointments for my full exam. The worst part was when she tried to convince me to get injections for the wrinkles on my forehead that I've had since I was a child. I told her I've always had them, that I couldn't afford them, that I didn't want them, but the response each time was that I needed it. What kind of Dr attempts to pressure their patients into getting cosmetic injections? I will not be going back to this office.
Shes a good doctor.she takes her time and cares about her patience.very genrous and friendly.
Thought i was in for a taro card ready judging by the place. Personal hygiene was lacking too.
I really appreciate that Dr. Shamani takes the time to listen to my concerns. This is big on my priority list! I have been going to her practice for the last couple of years and will continue to do so as long as insurance allows.
Dr Shamani is amazing!!. She took her time to talk to me and discuss things with me. She answered all my questions and concerns. She took care of all my needs. I would definitely recommend her to anyone. Thank you Dr Shamani!!
Dr Shimani is a great Dr. always very attentive to how you feel, and helping you get past your illness!
She was absolutely amazing, I would highly recommend!
She's not only a great doctor, but a really nice person in general. Her bedside manner is amazing and I definitely don't feel like she treats me like a "number" .
Dr. Shamani was very helpful and responded to my concerns very well. I was early and was able to get in even before my appointment time. Great visit!
Dr. Shamani is a excellent Dr. she listens, treats me with respect, she is the greatest Dr. I have ever seen, she is so thorough and if she doesn't know what the issue is she will do research to find out how she can help. I am completely amazed at how much she cares about me, I am thankful that I found such a great Dr., I highly recommend Dr. Shimani to anyone who needs a excellent Dr.
I loved the environment, it was vey nice and well put together. Everyone was kind and knew what they were doing. I had a great first time. Dr. Azam Shamani was very helpful, she explained everything throughly and made sure I was okay.
It seems like there is little to no communication with Dr. Shamani and her staff. They overcharged me for my visit and three months later, three calls back, it still hasn't been corrected or refunded. Dr. Shamani herself is quick and efficient and always takes the time to answer my questions when I have them. Great doctor, poor staff, poor follow through.
Dr. Shamani is a caring, intelligent, and practical physician who in my entire life, is the most amazing and professional and caring Doctor I have had. Highly, highly recommend!
Very kind and understanding of my needs. Explained everything with great detail and definitely seemed to take interest in me as a person, not a number.
The best Dr. I have ever met, she listens, and if she doesn't know something she will look it up. She has the best personality, and professionalism I have ever seen in a Dr.
Dr. Shamani was the first doctor I've met in a long time that was empathetic, caring, and just wonderful over-all. I explained some deep personal issues that I've been having a hard time with and she answered with a hug and told me it wasn't my fault. She was concerned enough to want a follow up to make sure I was doing okay. Her office decor is welcoming and beautiful, her staff is nice, and I really can't say enough nice things about my whole experience. If more doctors were like her, I feel like everyone could benefit from good care. I'm happy I went to see her and I'm happy that she'll be my doctor from here on out. Thanks, Dr. Shamani!
Dr. Shamani is very kind and approachable. She is a patient listener and personable. Would definitely go back.
Dr. Shamani and Derek are great! They are so sincere and I am appreciative to have such a supportive dr.
She was very easy going but nice, she cares about the well being of the patient.
Dr. Shamani was so friendly, kind, and warm. She understood my issues exactly, and set up a plan to treat all of my complaints. I could see Dr. Shamani had an honest desire to improve my well being both physically and mentally, and I'm very excited to continue working with her in the future.
My experience was very good. Doctor was quickly able to evaluate my problem and provide solution. Very friendly doctor who cares for the wellness of her patients
She is fantastic
I had a wonderful visit. The staff was really nice and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Shamani was great! She didnt make me feel like she was in a rush. I felt she was very thorough and listened to my needs whjch I find is hard to find when youre a new patient at a doctors office. I loved the waiting room, it was super comfortable. It wasnt stale and boring like most doctors offices. I had a great experience and will be back for a follow up appt in 2 weeks!
She is warm, welcomes questions, and answers in straight forward language not medicalize.
Worst visit ever. First the front desk tried to overcharge me, then I waited for 1.5 hours just to see her, while I literally heard her screaming at two other patients before me (it was bizarre), only for her to come in and try to sell me on products for my acne instead of treating me for my cold! She was rude, late and unable to give any useful feedback on what I possibly could have caught. She was only useful in writing a script to send to the pharmacy (thank goodness). Do NOT go here!
The best doctor I have ever met! Sweet, kind and cares about her patients
She listens attentively and asks logical questions, I feel confident that she knows what she is doing
I get perfect service and the doctor she is good and perfect
I like the doctor and her assistant. Unfortunately, the walls are so thin in her office and she tends to keep talking to you once she opens the door. I kept worrying that people outside could hear about my personal issues.
I like her.
I'm really looking forward to working with Dr. Shamani. I felt really good about my first visit today. Derek (Derrick?) was really helpful too.
I love Dr. Shamani. I finally found the right primary care doctor after searching for months! She and her staff are completely caring and professional.
Professional, courteous, caring demeanor.
I love Dr Shamani. She is personable and very caring. She listens to me and I feel like I have input on my care and ideas for treatment. Highly recommend Dr Shamani.
Dr.Shamani was thorough. I am no great with words but I wish I had walked into her office 20 years ago. I finally feel confident that I am receiving the best care possibly. I am 57.
Went through the medical test results. Explained clearly on the health status. Thanks Doc for your inputs. It really helped us.
At first, I was excited about her speed in ordering lab work and making the next appointment in order to get things moving for me. However, on the second visit, I felt very uncomfortable because Dr. Shamani raised her voice at me in an angry tone as she was telling me about my abnormal ultrasound results, which was especially embarrassing because the walls are so thin (I could hear her speaking to other patients when I was in the waiting room). Her explanation was short and very fuzzy. Even worse, she continued to discuss my medical issues out in the reception/waiting room area. I was disappointed, shocked and embarrassed. I have found another PCP. My advice to Dr. Shamani would be to lower her voice, be gentler, and give her patients hope towards the next plan of action.
It was easy experience they listened to everything I was saying and addressed every issue.
She is caring and attentive.
She was great.I would recomend her to anyone Who is looking for honest and experience Doctor.
Doctor Shamani and her staff are very rude and inconsiderate and I will not be returning here again. They were 2 days late to send me my ultrasound results, and when I called to ask about them the front desk told me I needed to come in to discuss "treatment options" without telling me what was wrong. After 10 minutes of trying to explain to him why he should not be telling patients they need to come in for treatment without explaining anything he gave a very loud, exasperated sigh and went to talk to the doctor. He told me he cannot give me any information and that I just need to come in. When I told him that I have no idea how concerned I should be and how alarming it was to hear that I needed treatment he told me, "Well you should be concerned about any abnormal ultrasound." We ended this conversation with him telling me that the doctor will call me back. Which she did, 1 hour later, and the first thing she said was, "How are you going to expect me to just jump out of my office to talk to you? Look, I'm very tired, and I'm a very busy woman, I've seen patients all day." She had a series of other very offensive one-liners like that, all undermining my age and intelligence. I have specifically asked her to never contact me again, and she immediately changed her tone and tried to tell me it was not a big deal and that she is happy to help me with my results. She did not let me off the phone for 10 minutes, trying to convince me to stay with her. I do not want anything to do with such an unprofessional, aggressive, inconsiderate, and controlling office ever again.
She is a fantastic physician. Genuinely caring and concerned. Her office is very relaxing and at home. By the time i leave i always feel like everything is going to be okay because of how she works with her patients. Very transparent and helpful. She will educate you on what is going on, and how you can help yourself. You are not just a human body in her office. She actually cares about the person within it.
Her assistant told me what the services rendered were before the doctor had even seen me! It was a check up and I got that only in the loosest definition of the word. I told her I had pains in my lower back and she suggested I get orthopedic soles for my feet. It ended up being a slipped disk! I also had a bacterial infection on my chest and back. She prescribed a cream and said it would be gone in a week or two. It has been a month and they have only gotten worse. Maybe she would have dedicated more time if she hadn't already charged for her services before even seeing me.
I went in for a birth control consultation and while I was laying on the table she randomly grabbed my lower belly fat and told me I was "overweight but not obese" and told me "it's ok you're just a little overweight" I'm 5'4" and 130lbs, I don't think I'm overweight and I didn't ask! It was so rude.
Dr. Shamani is least attentive and beyond helpful. She helps prepare my medications for long term business trips. Her staff is wonderful and she really cares about my health and wellness. I highly recommend her.
Doctor Shamani is absolutely amazing! I hate going to the doctors, but the environment was very comfortable and welcoming, and she was very easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable. This is a personal story but has relevance I promise… Last week I found a bald patch on my head and checked the rest of my scalp and found multiple bald spots. I freaked on and started googling (never google btw) I was absolutely devastated. I diagnosed myself with Alopecia Areata, an extremely rare disease with barely any information, but the pictures of the different cases were terrifying. I hadn't yet picked a primary care physician because I hadn't the time and I hate the going to the doctors. I know it sounds bad but I honestly won't even have health insurance if the law didn’t require it. So I got the cheapest insurance I could find through obama care and told myself I would never even use it. I actually got on Zoc Doc to see what dermatologist would except my insurance so I could make the soonest appointment possible. I was trilled to find a doctor the very next day. So I woke up at 8 am and drove all the way to La Jolla from El Cajon to find out that my insurance wasn't actually accepted there. Annoyed that I drove 40 minutes out of my way, I sat in my car and tried searching and calling other doctors and got rejection after rejection. No doctor took Blue Shield through Covered California. I googled until my phone died and then I drove back home to my laptop. From there I went through my insurances "list of Dermatologist who would take my insurance" and none of them would accept the insurance. I was referred to the Alopecia Areate Foundation who gave me a list of dermatologist who specializes in my rare disease. (mind you I didn’t even know if this is what I had) I had already called majority of them and was willing to give them a try. Most didn't take my insurance and the others wouldn't give an appointment for 6 months and also didn't guarantee insurance would cover treatment because they consider it "cosmetic". Cosmetic?! I am a 23 year old girl with bald patches all over my scalp. Alopecia Areata is a autoimmune DISEASE where the white blood cells attack the hair follicle. I'm not just trying to get thicker hair. Anyway after calling over 40 doctors offices, the last women I spoke with could hear the devastation in my voice and gave me some advice. After I told her I had spent the last 6 hours calling dermatologists, she recommended seeing a physician who could possibly refer me to a dermatologist with an urgent request to get me a sooner appointment. She explained that although I don’t need a referral, it could only help me be seen sooner. The search was back on. This time around instead of trying to get the best doctor I was just desperate to find someone as soon as possible. I didn't know how long it took for my hair to get as bad as it was and I didn't want to wait around for it to get any worse, not to mention the emotional tole of not knowing what is wrong with me. At this point it was 4:30. I was back on Zoc Doc and found an appointment with doctor Shamani at 5. I didn't think this was actually possible and not to mention my stupid insurance but I called anyways. They gave me an appointment right away. I walked in, tears in my eyes, exhausted and extremely hopeful. The guy at the front desk was awesome. He was very easy to talk to, hilarious, and very helpful. I told him all about my day and he immediately offered to help me. I told him I was mostly there for a referral to a dermatologist. He sat at his desk and started to research dermatologist who accepted my insurance. He said the insurance industry was extremely tricky but he knows all about it and wanted to help. He assured me Dr. Shamani is very smart and to not be surprised she might actually be able to help. He said she surprises him every day by all the information she knows and all the things she can do. Shorty after Dr. Shamani saw me. She knew right away what I had and ironically enough he had the exact same thing happen to her. Of all the doctors in the world what are the odds. Alopecia Areata is so rare only 1.7% of the population have it and there is barely any research out there about it. She assured me that the treatment is very simple and effective and to trust her because she had done it herself. I was released to hear she would treat me. I thought I wouldn't be treated until December and who knows how bad it will be by than. She also helped me with other concerns and did her best for me to not spend to much out of pocket. She expressed how she does’nt believe that people should have to pay for treatment because we pay insurance every month and everyone deserves to live a healthy life without having to break the bank. I know hair loss is not the end of the world but when you are a young girl it is devastating. She was extremely understanding. I was so embarrassed to cry but she hugged me and told I was beautiful and not to worry. She guaranteed me I was going to be fine and that my stress would only make it worse. Dr. Shamani is not only a well educated doctor who specializes in everything from dermatology, cosmetology, and is even a obgyn, she is an amazing, understanding, compassionate person. I know this is a longgg comment (and I never write anything unless it is a requirement for school) but I hope people read this and see how Dr. Shamani has really turned around this extremely emotional scary situation and made me feel comfortable and trusting in her knowledge that I will be okay. I wanted to thank her from the bottom of my heart, and sharing my story is the only way I know how. I know her work speaks for its self but if you have not found the right doctor, you should come see Dr. Shamani.
Dr. Shamani and her team are apart of the reason why my wife is healthy and son is alive today. Not many times in life do you come across genuine people that want to help you and want to make sure you get the best you deserve, if there should be any kind of people with this heart they should be in the medical field right? Sad reality is this is not true for the majority for Dr. Shamani, Derek and their team it is, they love what they do and they are passionate about what they do the kind of team I want for my family. They went above and beyond for myself and family and I could never thank them enough. After moving to San Diego from Los Angeles for a better career opportunity with my wife 36 weeks pregnant my insurance assured me I would get a doctor in San Diego along with Dr. Shamani being able to care for us. After going to our first appointment the insurance company dropped us from their coverage (though I had made payments to insure it was still in place) and my wife was without coverage and a doctor at 36 weeks pregnant. Not only did this news distress us being literally in the waiting room it also did not fly with Dr. Shamani and Derek. Derek told us we were not going to leave the office until the insurance sorted this out for us. Our appointment was at 10am we did not leave Dr. Shamani’s until 6:30pm with the end result thanks to Derek that we would be expedited back to our old plan I had in place previously. He literally worked on this for us all day! After this we needed a OBGYN and no one would take us as my wife was a “liability” at that point because she was so far along though she was insured. In the richest country in the world where I have paid health insurance from 18 years old when I need it most its not available ironic huh? When I say no one I mean not one doctor from here to the border. Again, we told Dr. Shamani of our troubles and Derek assisted us in getting a OBGYN, after calling offices all over San Diego (15+) and challenging half the city Derek found us a doctor. Long story short my son was born at Sharps Mary Birch which is a great hospital but it only worked out with our insurance because of Dereks diligence. My son was born through emergency c section because his umbilical cord was wrapped twice around his neck. He was down to the seconds for life and death. The way I think of it without Dr. Shamni’s help my son would have been born in a emergency room somewhere where the doctors may not have been so urgent or diligent to have the emergency c section possibly resulting in the worst case scenario. Thanks to Dr. Shamani and her team not only have I found a great doctor I have found something much more a group of genuine people who want to do what’s best for me and my family, priceless. As long as we live in San Diego my wife and I will not see any other doctor than Dr. Shamani she is the best hands down. Thank you doctor and Derek for everything you guys are the best!
She is always very nice and listens. Answered all of my questions. And looked like she was happy to be there. This is my new doctor! Love going there already
Everyone was super professional and nice. Definitely recommend
Today was my first visit with Dr. Shamani and when you check in for the first time, the front staff takes your picture for the doctor. At first It was kind of weird, but once the front staff explained that she's better with faces and will remember you by that over your name, I thought it was kinda cool. Also the front staff are awesome and hilarious! So my one and oy negative: I had to wait about 1:10 to see her. That sucks, not going to argue there. Granted the first 20+ mins was having my insurance confirmed, etc etc but after that I was frustrated when my 12 pm appt turned into 1:10....that is until you meet her. Dr. Shamani is hilarious! Super comfortable to talk to about every thing under the sun re: OB-GYN. She won't judge you, and best of all, she thoroughly explains EVERY thing she's doing, why she's doing it, what she recommends, what the literature says about it, and will talk you through each and every concern orquestion. At first it's a little hard to understand her because of her accent, so if you're monolingual English speaker, then just be patient because what she has to say is validating, supportive and suer helpful. Like for an example she explained in such a simple way why I'm always getting UTIs or yeast infections. No other OBGYN doc has done that and I've been seeing them for 14+ years (I'm 32). I even admitted to her, after about 30 mins of being in the appt (yes my entire appt was like 45+ mins so completely worth the wait) that when I saw she spoke Farsi on the website, I hesitated a little. Okay before you go calling me racist, I explained to her my previous experience with other OGBYN docs (mainly female but of all ethnicities) where I have felt judged because of my sexual activity. I explained that stereotypes exist for a reason and given that she grew up in the Middle East, she might judge me based on my "lifestyle." (Btw, We judge all the time! I'm bisexual and polyamarous- I'm sure you have some judgements about that). Anyway so to that, Dr. Shamani replied oh definitely not! If anything go do/sleep/love/be whatever and whomever you want because we have only one life to live. She also said that beyond that, her number one concern for her is my safety which is why she went over 3 different types of birth control (and how they work), made sure I had a complete blood panel done to check on things outside of just STIs/HIV and even offered to refill a Rx that my PCP does for me! I mean the women is amazing. But I'm still not done. Finally she talked about how right now she has 50+ transgendered folks as patients because apparently, not that many doctors in SD want to take these folks, or for whatever reason refuse to do procedures/surgeries/etc so a patient can finally feel like their insides and outsides match. I mean for a Persian women who only moved to the United States 12 years ago, she's one kick ass doctor who believes in the dignity and rights of all humans. So any of you kink friendly, polyamarous, sex positive & LBGT folks who need an amazing OB-GYN doctor-Dr. Shamani is who you gotta see!!!
She was very thorough and really took her time with me. She listened to me and was actually educating me too. I definitely recommend. She actually cares
Staff was rude. When showed up to scheduled appointment time Shamani had to be called upstairs and had to wait while she saw other patients who walked in, and did not make appointment
I had a good visit, the Dr. was very professional and friendly. She explained everything I need to get done for my next appointment.
Although I believe this doctor is knowledgable I would not recommend her. I have used her for a simple reason and visited three times, each time the wait was over an hour. My last, and final visit, she saw a patient that came half an hour after me first- leaving me waiting in the room. It took her medical assistant calling her from downstairs for her to even bother making it make to her office. As the main caveat to this, she read this patient my file and had completely mixed the two of us up. I have never had such terrible customer service at a doctor's office before.
I liked the doctor. She seemed caring and interested in my problem and ready to find an answer. The office decor was warm and inviting and the staff was very nice.
Dr shamani is the best! She is so friendly and really listens to what you have to say. She doesn't just blow you off or only talk to you for 2 minutes. I wish I could give her six stars!
Great Docotor. Very kind, patient, helpful and caring. She will spend a great deal of time talking to you. She is very professional with a very good beside männer. I would recommend her to anyone.
She's very kind and friendly :)
She seems like a very caring doctor. I love the fact that she is very thorough.
Great doctor! reminds me how going to the doctor used to be in the good old days.
This was my first time in to see Dr. Shamani and I was very happy with the time she took to get to know me. Her office staff was pleasant as well. I now have my new Family Doctor!! I highly recommend seeing Dr. Shamani.
Dr. Shamani was very nice. My only recommendation would be for staff to be more professional.
It was helpful
Dr. Shamani was great! I really feel that she honestly cared and listened to what I was saying and how I was feeling. I didn't feel rushed out of her room, she took her time trying to understand my underlying problems not just the superficial easy answers. She is very personable and I would definitely recommend her to anybody.
Dr. Shamani was awesome! she made me feel very comfortable and welcomed!
She friendly, professional, and very caring.
Dr Shamani was awesome and even though she said "You're healthy, why you here?", it was important to get checked out just to be sure.
She took her time to listen and went over all of the list I filled out before hand on my medical back ground. She was very thorough
She is amazing.
Dr. Shamani was great :) wonderful bedside manner & very thorough
Dr Shamani is a wonderful doctor. She is caring, compassionate and worm. I would recomened to everybody. Alania
She is the sweetest lady! Very thorough and caring, & made what could have been a awkward visit very comfortable. I would recommend her to anyone, I felt like she really cares about people.
Dr. Shamani is very sweet and seemed knowledgeable. She was easy to work with and answered all my questions. I would recommend her as a physician. However, her office staff is very difficult to deal with. I have had three bad experiences with the office staff (2 cancellations, 1 missing set of lab results) for a single checkup. If you don't mind the headache, she is definitely worth seeing, though I'm sure there are other great physicians with equally wonderful office staff.
wonderful as usual
Dr Shamani was extremely knowledgable, kind and listened to my concerns with sincerity. My first visit was a great experience and I would definitely recommend her to others!
Dr, Shamani was very professional and compassionate. I could not have been happier!
I really liked her, but found her office not up to par. She diagnosed my problem.
Very professional, personable, and thorough!
The doctor was wonderful. Made me feel relaxed and at ease right away. Easy to talk with.
I wrote a previous review which was not favorable to Dr. Shamani. Over some time I have re-evaluated my experience and would encourage others to see her. In retrospect, she was looking out for my best interests (whether or not, I understood that at the time.)
It was great went in right away told her how I felt and she listened to everything I said
Dr. Shamani was cheerful and encouraging. She was very direct in her diagnosis and evaluation which suited me just fine (it might not suit others). She was professional and thorough in her examination, and her staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Dr. Shamani and her staff are both professional and caring. I am a very medical records oriented patient and came prepared to update her on my history. This medical provider paid attention and ask very insightful questions. Some medical people I call just Doctors. Those that honor the profession and their patients I respect I address as "Physicians" . Dr, Shamani is a Physician. God has Blessed us all with her presence. C. Camille L.
I thought she was very nice and friendly. She made me very comfortable for it being my first time there, telling jokes. Everything was very fast and easy. I will definitely go back and I definitely recommend her.
Dr. Shamani is excellent! She is extremely knowledgable and is obviously very concerned about her patients' health and well-being. Although she is very professional, Dr. Shamani's great warmth and understanding attitude make it easy to talk with her. She listens intently and takes the time to explore your situation with you. Dr. Shamani actually reviews your visit in the comfort of her lovely office and personally emails your prescriptions to your pharmacy. In addition to this individual and caring attention, she allows you to email her and she answers very promptly. In short, one could not ask for a more skilled, compassionate, and dedicated physician. If you are looking for the best in medical care, I highly recommend Dr. Shamani and her great staff.
Very thorough! Asked about me and what bothered me, and actually listened as oppose to other doctors who wrote me off!
Very Caring Doctor..took time to answer all of my questions..She is very detailed in Her work..I am happy I found Dr.Shamani..I will be going there for my Health needs..

Very down to earth and wants to make sure you get seen as soon as possible!!! She makes sure to include your opinion on what's going on along with her own feed back. Very good communication, something a lot of doctors seem to lack.
