After graduating she worked as a Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient clinic. Azeezat is committed to providing children and adults with high-quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health care. Azeezat has great clinical abilities that are complemented by a natural ability to connect with patients and families. She adheres to evidence-based standards while also drawing on clinical experience, personal observation, and intuition. Azeezat's position as a PMHNP is broad, including instructor and mental health advocate. A full psychiatric evaluation, identification of treatment goals, and education regarding diagnosis and available treatment choices are all part of a client's initial session. Azeezat has the privilege of working alongside many excellent and experienced clinicians and is pleased to cooperate and coordinate care with them as needed. Azeezat's primary focus is on treating clients ages 12 to 65 with mood disorders, trauma, and chronic mental disease through psychiatric examination, medication management, and brief psychotherapeutic intervention. She believes in developing a customized plan of care that prioritizes client participation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and evidence-based practice. Azeezat's goal for her clients is for them to feel empowered to cure their illnesses by receiving supportive knowledge in a stigma-free environment.
