My name is Azkena Rios, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, and I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care across the lifespan. My goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their mental health journey.
I specialize in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, ADHD, PTSD, panic disorder, insomnia, and other mood and behavioral conditions. I believe that every individual deserves personalized care, and I work closely with each patient to develop a treatment plan that aligns with their goals, lifestyle, and overall well-being.
As the founder of Calm Waters Psychiatry & Wellness, I am committed to delivering high-quality psychiatric care through comprehensive evaluations, thoughtful medication management, patient education, and ongoing support. I believe that successful treatment is built on trust, collaboration, and open communication.
