About Dr. Bahaa Elzein

Dr. Bahaa A. Elzein is a board-certified internal medicine physician and experienced hospitalist, raised in the Dearborn and Dearborn Heights communities and now bringing primary and urgent care home to the place he grew up. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he's known for high-energy, efficient, and deeply patient-centered care. Born at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, he earned his B.A. in Biological Sciences from Wayne State University and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in 2019, then completed his internal medicine residency at the Detroit Medical Center / Wayne State University in 2023. As a hospitalist and travel physician he has cared for adult and geriatric patients across Michigan, West Virginia, Tennessee, Illinois, and Washington, in major metropolitan hospitals and rural communities alike. His clinical interests include pulmonary and critical care medicine, and he is fluent in both English and Arabic. Dr. Elzein is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Clinical Preceptor for UMHS, mentoring the next generation of physicians. He is affiliated with Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital and Henry Ford Health. Outside of his clinical practice, he is an avid sports fan and former youth and high school baseball coach who looks forward to returning to coaching in the future. In his free time, he enjoys boating, fishing, and camping throughout Northern Michigan.
