Getting to know Barb Bryant

Hello Sunshine! Wouldn't we all love to feel like we are the "sunshine" in someone else's day, or even be that sunshine for ourselves? I believe it's very possible! With the help of strategies such as talk therapy and medication management, along with other healthy lifestyle choices, it can be your reality. Just as tending to a garden requires multiple strategies to see a harvest, that's exactly how we'll approach your mental health care. We will look at "the big picture" to ensure safe, timely, and effective care. I hold a Master's in Nursing from Vanderbilt University and come from a background in Preventative Health and Wellness, as well as Family Medicine. I have worked for over a dozen years with patients of all ages in the Mental Health field. Mental Health is my passion, and I hope we'll make it yours as well!

What should a new client know about working with you?

Our initial evaluation together will be a "get to know you" time in which I'll ask all sorts of questions about your background. This enables me to get as big a picture of you as possible, right off the bat! But as with any relationship, we'll learn more about each other with time, and this is meant to be not only a helpful connection, but fun!

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
