About Dr. Barry D. Goldman
Dr. Barry Goldman is an instructor in dermatology at Weill Cornell Medical College/NY Presbyterian Hospital and an adjunct instructor at Mt. Sinai Hospital. He was the chief of dermatology at New York Downtown Hospital for many years until it merged with Cornell. He also served as a clinical assistant professor at New York University for 10 years. Dr. Goldman has published over 20 articles and chapters in the field of dermatology. He completed his Doctor of Medicine at Drexel University, followed by a residency in internal medicine at Philadelphia University and Thomas Jefferson University, Lankenau Hospital, and a residency in dermatology at the State University of New York, Buffalo. He further advanced his expertise with a fellowship in dermatology at Boston University Medical Center. In addition to a skin cancer fellowship, Dr. Goldman has received extensive training in the use of laser and light therapy for skin problems.
