About Dr. Barry Herstik
Barry Herstik, DPM, is a compassionate and board-certified podiatrist. He treats patients at FOOTDRx in Englewood, New Jersey, and New York City, where the practice has three conveniently located clinics in Midtown East in Manhattan, Union Square in the Village, and Bushwick, Brooklyn.
Dr. Herstik was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York City, and attended South Shore High School. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in biology from Binghamton University in Binghamton, New York. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science's Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, Illinois, graduating magna cum laude.
In his practice, Dr. Herstik is passionate about connecting with patients and healing people. His parents were both teachers, giving him a natural drive to educate his patients on their conditions and treatment options and bring them in as collaborators in their health care.
Dr. Herstik is happily married with two beautiful children, Zachary and Joshua, whose photographs are slowly, slowly taking over the walls of his office.
