About Belen Assemu
Belen Assemu is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Master of Science in Family Nursing from Chamberlain University in Illinois and completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Kennesaw State University, School of Nursing in Georgia, in 2007. With more than 14 years of nursing and nurse practitioner experience, she has worked in acute care, burn units, telemetry, step-down, neurosurgery, infectious disease, and primary care settings, both inpatient and outpatient. Throughout her career, she has dedicated significant time to caring for Veterans, active-duty personnel, and their families. Belen is Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

My visit at the office was a pleasurable and comforting visit. I was treated with care and felt very important. She addressed all my needs and gave me the resources that I needed to help all my barriers and she accepted my health care insurance.
