“Ms. B was incredibly helpful and accommodating. I was dealing with two time-sensitive issues on a very last-minute deadline, and she went out of her way to see me right away and help me get everything taken care of, even after regular office hours. She was kind, responsive, and made a stressful situation so much easier. I’m extremely grateful for the time and effort she put into helping me, especially on such short notice. I truly appreciate her willingness to go above and beyond!”

Getting to know Belinda King

Welcome to Asclepius LLC, where exceptional mental health care begins with being heard, understood, and treated as a whole person. I’m Belinda King, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 15 years of healthcare experience. At Asclepius LLC, I provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care for adolescents ages 12+ and adults across the lifespan. My goal is to make high-quality mental healthcare approachable, personalized, and accessible. I specialize in comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for ADHD, anxiety and panic disorders, depression, mood disorders, PTSD and trauma-related conditions, psychotic disorders, sleep concerns, and substance-use related needs. I have a particular interest in supporting first responders, healthcare professionals, military-connected individuals, students, and working professionals navigating high-stress environments. My approach is collaborative—not rushed or one-size-fits-all. I take time to understand your symptoms, medical history, lifestyle, concerns, and treatment goals before developing an individualized plan. When appropriate, care may include diagnostic testing, laboratory evaluation, supportive therapy, medication management, referrals, and coordination with other healthcare professionals. Asclepius LLC also provides ADHD evaluations and treatment, psychiatric clearance evaluations, emotional support and psychiatric service animal documentation when clinically appropriate, gender-affirming surgical readiness evaluations, and school or workplace accommodation support. Both in-person and secure telehealth appointments are available, including same-day appointments when scheduling permits. Whether you are beginning treatment for the first time, seeking a second opinion, or looking for a provider who will truly listen, you are welcome here. **Asclepius LLC — Personalized Psychiatry. Accessible Care. A Better Path Forward.**

What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me means having a provider who is approachable, relatable, compassionate, and genuinely invested in your care. I understand that seeking mental health treatment can feel overwhelming, so I strive to create a comfortable, judgment-free environment where you can speak openly, ask questions, and feel heard. My approach is personal and collaborative. I don’t believe in simply treating a diagnosis or prescribing a medication and sending you on your way. I take time to understand what is happening in your life, how your symptoms are affecting you, what has or hasn’t worked in the past, and what you hope to accomplish through treatment. I am dedicated to finding practical, individualized solutions that can improve your symptoms, daily functioning, relationships, and overall quality of life. Sometimes that means medication; other times it may involve therapy, lifestyle changes, additional testing, referrals, or a combination of approaches. Most importantly, I want my patients to feel comfortable being themselves. You can expect honesty, compassion, education, and shared decision-making throughout your care. We will celebrate progress, address challenges when they arise, and adjust your treatment plan when necessary. My goal is simple: **to meet you where you are, understand where you want to be, and work alongside you to help you get there.**

What is your typical process for working with clients?

From the moment you contact Asclepius LLC, our goal is to make accessing mental health care feel simple, welcoming, and supportive. Your experience begins with a warm welcome from our receptionist, who will assist with scheduling, answer initial questions, and verify insurance benefits when applicable. We also welcome self-pay patients, and same-day appointments are often available for those who need timely access to care. During your appointment, you will receive a thorough psychiatric assessment focused on understanding your symptoms, concerns, medical and psychiatric history, current challenges, and personal treatment goals. You will have an opportunity to ask questions and actively participate in developing your treatment plan. When medication is clinically appropriate, prescriptions can often be sent to your pharmacy the same day. Your provider will review the treatment plan with you, including medication instructions, potential side effects, safety considerations, and what to expect moving forward. Before your visit ends, we will establish your recommended follow-up plan and schedule your next appointment whenever possible, helping to maintain continuity of care. You will also receive comprehensive after-care instructions that summarize your treatment plan, medication guidance, recommendations, follow-up information, and important safety resources. At Asclepius LLC, we believe quality mental healthcare should be **accessible, organized, compassionate, and centered around you—from your first call through every step of your treatment journey.**

Dr. Belinda was absolutely wonderful! From the moment I met her, I felt completely comfortable and at ease. She has such a warm, caring personality and is genuinely so easy to talk to. I never felt rushed or judged, and she made it so easy to discuss everything openly. She was able to see me the very next day, which I really appreciated, and the entire experience was exceptional. She took the time to listen, answer my questions, and make sure I felt heard and understood. You can truly tell that she cares about her patients and takes pride in what she does. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Dr. Belinda was kind, attentive, knowledgeable, and personable. She made me feel comfortable from the very beginning, and I left feeling confident that I was in good hands. 10/10—I highly recommend her! ??
