This is definitely an office I will continue to visit because they are truly a hidden gem! This is an excellent rheumatology practice with a friendly and welcoming staff. There is no sense of being rushed or hurried through the process. Dr. Small was attentive and reassuring. I had seen another rheumatologist about my condition but found this practice to be a better fit for me.

Dr . Ben Small is a soft spoken individual, seems to be a great listener and is also very calm. I went to the rush professional office location. The office is very busy but I didn't feel rushed meeting with Dr. Ben Small. He has an in office phlebotomist and an x-rays are available 1 floor up. Works with Dr.Katz who is the rheumatologist everyone wants to see in Chicago. Has an interesting published journal article about intramuscular pressure in fibromyalgia patients.

I have had terrible experiences with specialists in the past, so I was really anxious about how my appointment was going to go. But all the staff I interacted with were friendly, and I felt like Dr. Small was actually listening to and thinking about what I was telling him. After 8 years of pain and frustration, I feel like I might actually be able to start making some progress.

Dr Small really do listens, asks questions and takes notes. It felt like I was heard and in good hands. Great, very personable doctor. Office staff and his nurse is also really nice which makes the whole experience as good as it gets at doctors office. Would recommend him and this practice to everyone in need of a rheumatologist.

He will take the time to see you and answer any questions you have. He called me after my visit to go over my lab results
that alone lets me know he cares for his patients.
Office staff and nurses are great, I will defiantly keep seeing him.

I went to see Dr. Small for knee pain and swelling. He was so kind to me. He was easy to talk to and answered any questions that I had. I ended up having my knee injected, but it was the easiest injection ever (I have had a few and they HURT!), I was shocked it didn’t hurt. And even better, my knee was pain free after a few days. He has excellent bedside manner. I’d recommend him to anyone!
