About Dr. Benjamin Kaplan
Dr. Kaplan received extensive training during his residency in Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY with a focus in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, diabetic limb salvage, sports medicine and minimally invasive techniques including bunion correction. Dr. Kaplan received supplemental training from the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics, emphasizing deformity planning and orthoplastic techniques.
Prior to medical school, Dr. Kaplan attended Touro University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. During this time he also obtained ISSA certification in personal training.
Dr. Kaplan provides personalized care to each of his patients ensuring they have a clear understanding of their diagnosis and all the available treatment options. Conservative measures are always prioritized. However, Dr. Kaplan also offers advanced surgical options when appropriate.
Outside of the office, Dr. Kaplan enjoys an active lifestyle and spending time with his family.

Dr. Kaplan’s staff is very friendly and attentive. Dr. Kaplan listened and cared about my concerns, made the problem feel super casual, and we even shared a laugh on how I unfortunately got athlete’s foot. He’s kind and a rare find in the medical industry. Lastly, my issue went away in less than 4 weeks. I highly recommend him in this forum and will surely personally recommend him to any friend in need of foot and ankle care.

I came to the office and the front desk got annoyed that I booked through ZocDoc and she prefers booking through the phone. Also, when it came to the benefits she charged me more than my copay. I called my insurance to verify and was told to don't return to them if they're charging extra and they'll be happy to find me a new podiatrist.
Dr. Kaplan was amazing, I'm just not happy about the management.
