What should a new client know about working with you?

I’m not here to simply prescribe medication—I’m here to help you explore why you’re struggling and how we can create meaningful, lasting change. I value open communication, honesty, and curiosity, and I encourage my patients to take an active role in their care. We’ll look at all aspects of your wellbeing, including sleep, nutrition, exercise, and stress management, to develop a holistic plan that supports your long-term recovery and growth.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During our first session, I’ll take time to understand your history, current challenges, and goals. Together, we’ll identify priorities for treatment and explore options such as psychotherapy, medication management, lifestyle adjustments, or referral for additional testing or therapies. Follow-up visits focus on refining your plan, monitoring progress, and making adjustments as needed. My goal is to ensure you feel supported, informed, and confident throughout your treatment journey.

After scheduling your appointment, you will receive an email from Stella Mental Health (formerly Numinus) containing your intake paperwork. Please allow about 30 minutes to complete this form. Your responses will help your provider prepare for your upcoming appointment. All patients are required to complete the intake form 24 business hours before their appointment. You will receive a phone call from one of our dedicated Care Advocates, who can answer any questions you may have. Please be prepared to provide a credit card to keep on file for co-pays or cancellation fees. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full intake appointment fee ($292). During your intake appointment, you’ll spend 60 minutes with your provider collaborating on a treatment plan tailored to your needs. If in-person treatments are recommended—such as TMS, Spravato, DSR SGB, or ketamine therapy—our care team will guide you through the process and ensure you feel supported every step of the way.
