About Dr. Benjamin Yang

He completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
As a resident, Dr. Yang visited Vietnam on a mission trip with several other ENT surgeons. They hiked and climbed the highest mountain on the peninsula, Mt. Fansipan, to the peak or “the Roof of Indochina.” The views above the clouds were “truly mesmerizing, but the wet socks were less than spectacular.”
Dr. Yang’s guilty pleasures are chocolate and the Avengers.
As a child, he wanted to become an NFL quarterback but “unfortunately never made it past 5 foot 8 inches in height.”
