What should a new client know about working with you?

After my encounter with my clients, I expect them to feel heard. Nothing like seeing a doctor and walking out of the office feeling respected and feeling like you have been heard and treated professionally.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

New clients can expect a warm, clear, and collaborative approach. My practice is a non-judgmental setting with a conducive space. My goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and informed—not rushed or judged. I’m a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides medication management and therapy for adults both in-person and secure tele-mental health. If you have an outside individual psychotherapist, that is working with you, feel free to make me aware. I will work with them too. Education and safety are central to how I practice. I’ll explain your options in plain language, review risks and benefits, and invite your preferences so we can make decisions together. If by any reason your treatment involves the use of controlled substance, I will order routine labs to validate treatment compliance.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
