Dr. Tam attended San Francisco State University for his undergraduate studies and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in 2002. He founded Benson Chiropractic, Inc. in 2004. As an athlete and former martial arts competitor, Dr. Tam has extensive knowledge in treating sports-related injuries. Our clinic focuses on treating neck, back, and extremity pain caused by motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, repetitive stress injuries, sports injuries, or work-related injuries. We also offer a wellness care program designed to keep your spine in optimal condition, improve overall health, and reduce the risk of injury. I've been going to Dr. Tam for my shoulder and wrist pain, and he was able to reduce my pain and tell me the reasons for my pain on the first visit. After a couple more visits, I can do the things I want to do without more pain. Highly recommend Dr. Tam if you need a chiropractor.

Dr Tam was responsive to my questions. He was clear on my treatment plan and listened to what I wanted to achieve. He eased my apprehension of going to the chiropractor for the first time. What I appreciated was he would explain what type of treatment he would perform before actually doing it on my neck. Office staff is very nice and very clear of expenses that are not covered by Medicare; therefore, giving you an option to decline a specific service.

The minute Dr Tam saw me he said I had scoliosis ( sideways curvature of the spine). I had my clothes on and standing straight (I thought). I told him I had a slight curvature but he said it was more of a medium problem.

Office asked me to move my time of appointment to an hour later, so I had to rearrange my schedule because couldn’t stand the back pain. Overall experience was good, but my insurance doesn’t cover chiropractor, so I told them that I’m going to find another doctor closer to my home, they refused to give me my x-Ray that I paid for. They allowed me to take a picture, but if another specialist will not accept the pictures, I’ll have to do an x-Ray again.

Doctor Benson and staff have been helping me through pain and discomfort and recently I learned after several visits that Dr Benson has been giving me a little extra treatment that my insurance was not covering because as he stated he wants his patience to have the best possible care for the situation that is present. I had originally made my appointment through Zoc Doc for a particular time so the next day I received a phone call from doctor Benson's office stating that the Zoc Doc app doesn't match the actual appointment times that are available in the office. My appointment was easily corrected and so yes I recommend doctor Benson and staff for your ache's and pains.

I came to see Dr. Tam because I was experiencing moderate pain and limited range of motion in my neck that appeared suddenly. Within a couple of weeks Dr. Tam was able to alleviate my neck pain and restore full range of motion for my neck. Dr. Tam and his team were always very friendly and patient with any questions or concerns that I had. I would highly recommend Dr. Tam. Thank you!

My friend recommended me to Dr. Tam. So, I decided to give a try. I have been seen Dr. Tam since June for my lower back pain. He is very professional and friendly. He is very knowledgeable and clearly explains the issue to me. His staff is also nice and the office is super clean. After few months, my pain is much better. I would recommend him to others.
