About Berenice Kobu

She graduated with honors from the University of Massachusetts Boston, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, and she also continued her education by completing her Master of Science degree in Nursing at Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts. She possesses more than a decade of experience in Nursing. As an RN, she worked in the acute hospital setting at Norfolk General Hospital in Virginia and the VA hospital, serving our nation’s Veterans in Manchester, New Hampshire and Bedford, Massachusetts. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, her experience has been in Internal medicine, treating acute illness and chronic diseases, like Obesity, COPD, Hypertension, Kidney Disease, Diabetes, and Congestive Heart Failure. Armed with her extensive track record of clinical excellence and her naturally friendly, outgoing personality, Berenice is passionate about empowering her patients with quality personalized care to help them manage a wide range of chronic and acute conditions. In addition to being an outstanding clinician, Berenice is also an educator and mentor to nursing students. She has been a Health Assessment lab instructor at the University of Massachusetts Boston. When she is not caring for her patients, Berenice loves to spend time with her husband and two children. Her favorite hobbies include reading, traveling, and cooking.
