My name is Bernadine Anderson-Clarke. I am a family nurse practitioner and psychiatric nurse practitioner. I developed a passion for psychiatric medicine when I was seeking providers to refer my family medicine patients to. I soon realized that clients were coming back to me because they were not able to find care. I quickly enrolled in an intense program at Barry University, where I earned my Master's in Nursing. I am now dually certified in family medicine and psychiatric mental health.

What should a new client know about working with you?

New patient should know that I will work on their behalf. There are no judgement or stigma expressed during my session with them. I am friendly and kind. I am an attentive listener. I will offer resources available to them to improve their mental health. They will be heard and not rushed

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The typical session last for 45 minutes to one hour via telehealth A screening tool is completed by client. and reviewed by provider Intake questions are asked, symptoms are fully documented. complete history are obtained, family history, psychiatric history are attained. social history to include substance abuse, education level, employment, living arrangement, family status. support
