About Dr. Bernard Schayes
Dr. Bernard Schayes is an insightful, compassionate internist, and primary care doctor treating patients in New York City and the surrounding communities. He has more than 25 years of clinical experience treating a diverse variety of patients. The focus of his practice is the prevention of disease by diagnosis, management of chronic conditions, and maintenance of healthy lifestyles with exercise.
In order to pursue his medical degree, Dr. Schayes attended the University of Bucharest. He has continued his medical education through studies at the Nassau University Medical Center and the Nassau County Medical Center, where he completed an internship program. He is now affiliated with the Beth Israel Medical Center’s Petrie Division, Lenox Hill Hospital, and the Mount Sinai Hospital.
