Beth Brown, LMFT

Beth Brown, LMFT

Marriage and Family Therapist
CA
I am passionate about supporting my clients in connecting with the essence of who they are, so that they may manifest more freely and fully in the world. I welcome you as a whole being with the capacity to consciously connect with the intelligence of the healing and transformative forces available to us all. I am interested in meeting you wherever you are in your present experience and supporting your own rhythm and pacing. Our counseling sessions together will offer you an invitation to deepen self-awareness and grounding in the body, align with what supports you, tap into what inspires you, cultivate your inherent intuition and creativity, identify and clarify your wants and needs, work through wounding and conflict, strengthen your capacity to tolerate difficult emotions, and develop more ease, resilience, and choicefulness. In addition to actively listening and engaging with you through inquiry and dialogue, I may also utilize supplemental forms of creative and non-verbal exploration. These may include experimental exercises, visualization and active imagination, nature-based exercises, mindfulness practices, tracking sensory awareness of the body, and creating ritual. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies, which informs my integrative and holistic approach to therapy.
