About Bethany Hughes
Bethany Hughes is a certified Physician Assistant who moved to Texas from Rhode Island. She received her undergraduate degree from Brown University, where she majored in Public Health. At Brown, Bethany gained valuable experience in Mohs surgery.
Bethany earned her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from the New York Institute of Technology, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She was a recipient of the Graduate Scholar Award. Bethany worked in New York, gaining experience in general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants as well as the Texas Association of Physician Assistants. Bethany is currently accepting new patients at all locations.

After waiting over 30 min in room, Dr came in and out within 5-7 mins. First time to see her. Hardly had time to ask any question and could tell she didn’t want me to ask any question. She was in a hurry. I won’t go back.

I had a 12:15 appointment and was shown back to a room 12:30. I waited in the room for close to 30 minutes before being seen. The PA introduced herself and told me what she was going to do. She looked me over, froze a couple of places on my face and took a biopsy on my neck. Said I would receive a call when the results are in. The whole experience felt like cattle being run through a chute. The PA seemed in a hurry. No explanation why I was kept waiting “in a gown” for 30 minutes. It was not a pleasant experience.

I live 50 minutes away from this office and I needed to get in somewhere quick, but I will definitely be back just because my experience was so great with the assistant and the doctor. They were both so nice, so quick, and gave me some samples of a newer version of a product I love and several of them.? The appointment went perfectly. She’s a great doctor who listens to her patients. Only thing I’d say was the office was hard to find. It’s on the second floor so I was late but they still accepted me.

She seemed like she was in a rush to get out. I felt hurried and like my problems were not really listened to. In the end, I was able to talk about what I wanted to but only after she tried leaving twice… The office was also not upfront about my insurance not being accepted there. I only went to her because Zocdoc assured me that this office takes my insurance, but unfortunately for me they don’t.

Dr. Hughes was so kind and helped me with all of my concerns. I had a mini procedure done and it was completely painless. I will definitely be back to see her again.

I arrived 30 min early to make sure i had time for paperwork. The tablet questionnaire was extremely tedious and I did not have time to list my prescriptions. Also asking tedious questions like for dates of when I started various maintenance drugs. Suggest going back to clipboard and pen!
