“I just moved from Chicago IL. to Pittsburgh Pa. For a New Job -receiving New Health Insurance- new home - and needed a new provider for my stable mental health meds.
I found Dr.Curtis on the Zoc Doc platform ,that said , this process went very smoothly as I was concerned about my meds with so much going on in my life , I placed finding a new mental health provider a lil to far back on the burner so to say -
My 1st appt , Dr Curtis asked questions that told me she was truly concerned about me and my needs - she is true professional made me feel as I made the correct choice by setting an online appt. Very convenient with my Job/lifestyle
I would send any friends & family to Dr.Curtis and feel that they would also be taking care by a professional.
I would also recommend Zoc Doc to find a mental health Doctor & to make an online appt.

Dr. Beverly Curtis is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner who specializes in psychiatry and is passionate about helping people improve their mental health and well-being. Dr. Curtis began her nursing journey with bachelor’s degrees from Waynesburg University and Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she also earned her Master of Science in Nursing. She went on to complete post-master’s certificates in Pediatric Nursing at West Virginia University and Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing at Wilkes University.
To further deepen her knowledge and clinical skills, she earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Chatham University.

This appointment was for my son. He was nervous prior to but the way she communicated and addressed his concerns put him at ease and made both him and myself feel like the plan she created with us is promising. She included us in the planning process and asked if we had any questions or concerns, provided clarification, and offered tips to help deescalate my son during difficult times. We felt almost hopeless prior to this appointment, and helped give us hope.

Dr, Curtis is the kindest, most compassionate Doctor that I have ever encountered. She is very throughout, but in a caring nature. She is extremely intelligent, especially when it comes to psychiatric medicine and protocols. I feel blessed to have found her as a provider.

She never showed up to the appointment. I stopped waiting in the waiting room after an hour. She never contacted me after the appointment to explain the reason as to why she didn’t show up. Tried calling her cell with no response.
