Bhavna Gupta, M.D., received her medical degree from Bombay University in Bombay, India and completed internal medicine residency at New York Methodist Hospital, an affiliate of Weill Cornell Medical College and a Member of the NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System. She completed clinical rotations in intensive care unit and Leukemia, gastroenterology and solid tumors at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NewYork. Dr. Gupta also completed a fellowship in medical oncology at Roswell Park Medical Center, Buffalo NY, where she also conducted research on gastrointestinal tumors. Dr. Gupta is Board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology and is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Gupta has published and presented several peer - reviewed articles, posters and abstracts at regional and national oncology meetings. As an active and concerned oncologist, Dr. Gupta gives several lectures a year for patients and their families, community organizations, nursing and physician groups and residents. Dr. Gupta maintains membership in many prestigious organizations including; American Society of Clinical Oncologists, American Society of Hematologists, and American Medical Association. With her many speaking engagements, community outreach programs, and active involvement in cancer fundraising, Dr. Gupta has solidified a strong presence in community.
