Hello, I’m Bianca, a Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a passion for supporting individuals through their mental health journey. I earned my Master’s degree in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Lewis University and my Bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions, and I believe care should be personalized and collaborative. Using a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), active listening, and evidence-based practices, I help patients better understand their symptoms and develop practical tools for lasting well-being. My goal is to provide thoughtful, respectful care that empowers you to create meaningful change.

As a new client, you can expect a supportive, collaborative, and transparent approach. I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable sharing your concerns. Together, we’ll discuss your goals and create a treatment plan tailored to your needs.
I encourage open communication and regular check-ins to ensure your treatment is working for you, including ongoing conversations about therapy progress and medications when applicable. My goal is to provide care that feels empowering, flexible, and aligned with your mental health goals.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Our work begins with a comprehensive initial assessment to understand your mental health history, current concerns, and any previous treatments. From there, we’ll set clear goals and develop a treatment plan that reflects your preferences and needs.
As we move forward, I regularly evaluate your progress and make adjustments as needed. Treatment may include therapy, medication management, or both, depending on your goals. I strive to provide consistent support and ongoing collaboration so you feel confident and supported throughout your care.

I joined the call 15 mins earlier (9:45am) as the text instructed me to, sat on the line for 30 minutes until 15 minutes after my appointment (10:15am), and she never joined. No one called to tell me she needed to reschedule or anything, so I called THEM, and they then told me i'd need to reschedule to 2:00pm so i agreed. Then they texted asking if she had joined the call yet....I replied no, I just spoke to your office and rescheduled. Then they called me back and told me that I needed to schedule with a different provider at 1:30pm or 5:00pm....I took the 1:30pm with Gretchen Aich. She joined promptly at 1:30pm and was very kind and efficient. Would highly recommend her instead :)

I’ve been seeing Bianca for a couple months now and her recommendations have greatly improved my mental health and well-being.

I've had three sessions so far with Bianca and she's proven herself to be a fantastic caregiver and psychiatrist. She is patient, communicates clearly, and listens with concern. I'm at a very difficult point in my life right now and we were quickly able to identify which medications would work best in my situation. We went on to adjust from there, and since then I feel like I'm mentally in a totally different place than where I was before our visits. I would recommend her to anyone seeking psychiatric help.
