Getting to know Bianca Robinson
I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I received my Master's degree in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Rutgers?New Brunswick in 2018. Since working under the umbrella of mental health as an RN (Hampton University graduate) with overall experience of 15 years, including 5 years currently as an APN, I believe that with a pinch of mustard seed faith, time, patience, and effort, the road to improving mental illness becomes less cluttered and more clear. I treat adults ages 21 and older who struggle with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and schizophrenia. I perform psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing, medication prescribing, medication management, and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Following a psychiatric evaluation and diagnosis, medication prescribing/monitoring will occur with a follow-up appointment within 2-4 weeks and continual monitoring of medication effectiveness and mood/behavior thereafter along with addressing client goals and interventions within the treatment plan to work towards for improvement in the client's mental health.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
