Blessing is a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who uses a patient-centered, holistic approach and evidence-based research to treat patients across the lifespan. She holds a Master’s in Family Nursing from Walden University, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Washburn University, and a Bachelor’s degree from Towson University, University of Maryland. With 12 years of overall nursing experience, including 8 years in psychiatry, she has worked with diverse populations in various mental health settings, including inpatient and outpatient clinics.
Her treatment modalities combine psychotherapy and psychopharmacology to create individualized plans tailored to her clients’ needs. Blessing’s scope of practice includes care for children, adolescents, adults, and the geriatric population, with the goal of empowering clients to feel valued by providing essential, quality care grounded in evidence-based approaches. Her treatment focus includes personality disorders, PTSD, ADHD, schizophrenia, depression, bipolar and mood disorders, anxiety disorders, women’s health (peripartum and postpartum), eating disorders, and care for members of the LGBTQIA+ community, military service members and their families, as well as those experiencing life transitions, loss and grief, trauma, and histories of substance use disorders.
Blessing’s experience reflects a commitment to exceptional and compassionate care. She strives to collaborate with her clients using a highly moral and non-judgmental approach, ensuring a safe space for healing. Her aim is to meet her clients’ needs and motivate them to care for their mental health effectively, improving their daily functioning and overall mind, body, and spiritual wellness.

Blessing is truly amazing. She listened to my story and was super observant, patient, and respectful. She really seemed like she cared about me and my mental health and medical problems. I was trying to come up with my own treatment plan and can understand how that comes off to some providers, but she was very understanding and got me on my way to a better mental health care plan.
I just LOVE that I could reach her via chat/text and could get responses sooner than other providers I've had in the past that kept me waiting for a call back. If you really want a provider that cares...then call Blessing!

This is hands down the Best mental healthcare our family has EVER received! Blessing is always professional and Really cares about their patients. Super understanding and has a wonderful personality. Helped me understand everything I needed to know about my behaviors and feelings; explained the actions of the medications being prescribed, the possible side effects and how to reach her for any questions, which I did and she responded right away.
