Getting to know Blessing Ugbor

What would feel different if your mind was quieter and your focus finally made sense? I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner with more than a decade in nursing, and I help adults facing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, and trauma related stress. My style is patient centered and collaborative. We will pick one priority at a time, talk through what has helped or not helped before, and build a plan that respects your values and identity, including LGBTQ+ affirming care, so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In our first visit we will start with a warm up, then review your symptoms, history, and your top priorities. I explain options in plain language and offer evidence based choices, including therapy skills and medication management, guided by your preferences. My focus is safety and informed decisions so you understand the why behind each step.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Starting care can feel like a big step, especially if you have been carrying this alone. I am currently accepting new adult patients, with appointments available within the week. If you want a clinician who listens, explains what is happening, and builds an evidence based plan with you at your pace, I would be glad to meet you.
