Dr. Farrell, DNP-PMHNP-BC started her career as a Fulbright Scholar and presented her research at the US Embassy on traditional medicine. Following the completion of her grant she attended New York University (NYU). She went on to complete a residency at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas. She then completed her doctorate at University of San Diego, California with a focus on digital telehealth treatment for psychiatric care. Dr. Farrell has a passion for working with the Veteran, Depression, Anxiety, and Mood Disorder populations. In 2023 Dr. Farrell finished CIIS training in Psychedelic assisted therapy.

I started meeting with Dr. Farrell postpartum for anxiety and depression, and she has been absolutely incredible. From our very first session, she met me with so much grace, kindness, and understanding. She listens without judgement, truly sees you as a person, and has helped me navigate one of the hardest seasons of my life with compassion and care. I always leave our appointments feeling supported and more grounded. I am so grateful to have found her - highly recommend to any new moms or anyone struggling and looking for a thoughtful, dedicated psychiatrist.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Bohan Farrell, APRN, DNP for over a year now, and I can say she’s a great provider on my healthcare team. She truly listens and takes the time to understand what’s going on, not just medically but emotionally too. She monitors my anti-anxiety medication closely and always checks in to make sure I’m feeling stable, safe, and supported.
Bohan is incredibly easy to talk to — I never feel judged or rushed during appointments. She creates such a comfortable and understanding space that makes it easy to be open and honest. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients’ well-being and wants them to do well, not just on paper but in real life. I’m very grateful for her care and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a mental health provider who truly listens and cares.

Bohan Farrell is great! I have never had any problems, I adore her, and the office goes above and beyond as well. In fact, I actually made sure to get insurance that covers her practice so I can still have her as my provider!

She has strong listening skills and makes me feel empowered in my control over my own mental health. Dr. Farrell always offers sound solutions and provides frequent checks in regarding patient comfortability. I highly recommend her as a health care provider.

I always get so excited to meet with Dr. Farrell because I know that she will be so supportive and uplifting! Her team is very responsive and I can always get in touch with her or someone on her team. She helped me get through a tough time and because of her help, I am on the other side of it. I’ve been seeing my psychiatrist, Bohen Farrell, for almost three years now, and she has truly been a lifeline for me. She’s gotten me through some of my darkest times and has a way of always making me feel better, no matter what I’m going through. Dr. Farrell has never let me down—she’s reliable, compassionate, and incredibly easygoing. Talking with her feels like talking to a good friend, yet with the guidance and wisdom that only a skilled professional can provide. Dr. Bohan Farrell was always very empathetic and went about our appointments in a professional and effective manner. When I communicated a drug was having adverse effects, she recommended another which was better and she always listened and followed up each month to previous comments. I will continue to see Dr. Bohan Farrell in the future.

In a day and age where finding care providers you align with can be a challenge, I can say that I got lottery being paired up with Dr Farrell. Her level of care is compassionate, personable and flexible to my needs, concerns and time constraints. I am very happy with her approach as a provider. Super lucky to have her as part of my care squad.
