Bose Ajayi is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 17yrs of nursing who brings deep compassion, cultural awareness, and clinical excellence to every session. Her journey into mental health care began from a genuine passion for people and a heart for healing.
Her career was greatly shaped by her time supporting military staff at Walter Reed, which inspired her to earn her mental health degree from Walden University.
Today, Bose serves clients in Washington D.C. and Virginia through both in-person and secure telehealth appointments. Known for her calming presence and warm, empowering sessions, Bose provides a safe, inclusive environment where clients feel truly valued and supported without judgment.
Bose believes Mental wellness is a Journey, not a fixed point, she is committed to walking beside each client, respecting their emotional world, cultural identity and spiritual path.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Our first session is a chance to get to know each other and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. I will invite you to share what brings you in, what you’re hoping for, and any concerns you may have. I take time to explain your treatment options, provide education about your symptoms, and collaborate with you to create a care plan that feels realistic and personal. My goal is for you to feel safe and comfortable enough to speak openly without fear of judgment. I strive to communicate clearly, listen deeply, and support you in taking an active role in your care. In-person appointments are available upon request.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I work with clients who are seeking support with depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, mood disorders, and adjustment concerns. I am especially well-suited for individuals who want a collaborative and compassionate provider—someone who will listen without judgment and walk with them as they work toward feeling more balanced and supported in their daily lives. I explore Clients needs, and actively participate in their healing journey but with medication management, supportive psychotherapy, and collaborative care.
