Getting to know Dr. Bradley Miller

I am a Columbia-trained and affiliated board-certified psychiatrist and neuroscientist who provides psychotherapy and medications for depression and anxiety. Working in a comfortable setting in the Upper West Side, I maintain a small private practice that allows me to devote a high level of attention to each individual person. As an expert in both medications and talk therapy, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), I can tailor the treatment to your individual needs. I also provide consultations for people who would like a second opinion on their current treatment. Our first meeting starts with an in-depth evaluation with two goals. First, we define your current difficulties to develop an accurate diagnosis. Second, we take a broader view to understand where you may be stuck in your personal, relational, or professional growth. With this in mind, we develop a treatment plan collaboratively. In addition to my clinical work, I conduct research and train residents at Columbia University. As a researcher, I strive to understand the causes of depression and anxiety. My research informs my clinical practice and I bring the best evidence-based treatments to my patients. For your convenience, I offer evening and weekend appointments. I am not in a network with insurance. If your insurance has out-of-network benefits, I will provide you with the documentation you need to get reimbursed for your visit.
