Getting to know Bradley Tepper
I will usually not combine benzos with Suboxone or stimulants. If you are looking for any combination of those three, you should look elsewhere.
Brad Tepper has been a nurse in the field of psychiatry for over 10 years. Brad is currently a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a Master's degree in Psychiatric Nursing from Purdue University. He is passionate about helping patients through medication administration and therapy.
Brad's goal is for every patient to feel comfortable and cared for while receiving care in the clinic. His top priority is listening, educating, and meeting patient needs in the moment. He is passionate about working with patients who suffer from depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia, and addiction.
Brad's completed education includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master's in Psychiatric Nursing from Purdue University, and an MBA in Healthcare Management. His hobbies include pickleball, ice hockey, and hiking in the beautiful mountains around Colorado.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I prescribe psychiatric medications for a variety of psychiatric conditions. I also do some supportive therapy in conjunction with prescribing for most patients.
For Bipolar, your mood will need to be stabilized before prescribing antidepressants or stimulants. I will also not prescribe any combination of buprenorphine, stimulants and benzodiazepines.
For Medicaid patients, I am NOT in network with Denver Health Medicaid Choice. If you don't live near Denver Health, then you probably don't have that Mediciad.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
We start with an intake which can take around 90 minutes where I ask about your psychiatric history to determine what is bothering you. We then agree on psychiatric medications that will be most helpful to you, and optimize that treatment during 30 minute follow up visits.

I am so so so happy with and grateful for my first experience with Brad! I booked him because of his rating, and he is excellent across the board: knowledgeable, RESPECTFUL, clear with communication, confident, on top of his game, easy to get in to see within a short amount of time, etc. It's hard to find a psych provider who values and appreciates patient input/experience as much as he does, and philosophically I felt heard and am excited to work with him again. Honestly couldn't really ask for a better experience, and I've seen a LOT of providers over the years who are challenged by my combo of diagnoses. Super nice, solid dude, and am the most grateful to truly feel on the same page as him. Excellent experience and start to my day.

It is RARE to get proper care now days. Whether it's bed side manner, them being condescending or simply making it difficult for you to get your meds for absolutely no reason. Brad was not only the opposite of those things, but he also made it as easy as possible for me to complete and turn in the proper forms I needed for the appointment. He was flexible & understanding as to why these simple tasks were very challenging for me. He made me feel as if he was actually HELPING me to just simply get to my appointment - which he doesn't even need to do- but this just shows he cares about his clients. He listened and was very straight forward too, which helps someone like me to focus & give direct answers needed so he can give the care I came in for. I can get off topic and go down a rabbit hole & he seems to be very good at retaining the important info & bringing the focus back & I was able to start my medication DAY OF and scheduled the follow up in a decent window of time. Tepper is an outstanding psych. We had a great first meeting and I will continue to see him as my primary. Not like most psychs that I’ve had he actually engages and listens to you and finds ways to improve any point or stressor. I felt very comfortable to opening up to him as I am anxious and nervous for these appointments which I have felt it the past but not with Tepper. We came up with a plan on medications that could help myself and following up with him in 2 weeks. I highly recommend Brad best psych I’ve had to this date and will continue to see him frequently.

Brad is fantastic. He is thoughtful, asks, good questions, and truly listens, Brad then provides balanced, pragmatic treatment and guidance. I could tell that he is extremely knowledgeable while at the same time providing a compassionate human response. To me, this is the best of both worlds and I highly recommend him.
