“I was a patient of Dr. Thomas for 3 years and could not speak more highly of him! I started seeing him right before my wedding in the midst of covid. As an anxious person, I had no idea, I could live any other way! With Dr. Thomas's help, while I am still anxious at times, I've learned to control it better than I ever thought possible. My relationships - especially with my partner and family members - are stronger than ever. Dr. Thomas is empathetic but also has a personality. He's a fantastic listener and I was always amazed but what he remembered. He pushed me when it was appropriate but also gave me space to vent when needed. Overall, I could not recommend him more highly. My husband always used to joke about wanting to send him a fruit basket during the holidays because I was so much happier and less anxious as a result of my work with him. Thanks for your help Dr Thomas! ”

Getting to know Dr. Bradley Thomas
I am a culturally sensitive and LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist with years of experience treating adults and couples facing relationship issues, depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, bipolar disorder, childhood trauma, and executive functioning difficulties.
Before practicing clinical psychology, I parlayed my athletic ability on the football field into a full scholarship to Boston College and later graduated from Hampton University. My enthusiasm for athletics, physical fitness, and wellness inspired me to work as a celebrity fitness trainer at one of New York City's most exclusive gyms. Over my 15+ year career, I have helped hundreds of clients not only lose weight and tone up but also improve their capacity to overcome adversity by adopting a growth mindset.
Realizing the critical connection between physical and mental health, I pursued advanced education, earning a Master's in Psychology from the New School and a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the City University of New York, Graduate Center. I also completed a fellowship at the Center for Progressive Psychotherapy. I now utilize my mind-body expertise as a clinical psychologist to help patients overcome their stuck points and achieve their goals.

Dr. Thomas was really easy to interact with and very inviting. This is my first time working with a therapist and the experience has been very positive thus far. It does require me to do a lot of work and address some uncomfortable questions but I feel stronger over the past few months working with Dr. T. Prior to our engagement, I was looking for somebody with the right training and education background to work with me and he checked all the boxes for me. He's always on time and every single session goes by super fast. Highly recommended.

Dr. Thomas is by far the best therapists my partner and I have ever work with! His approach to conflict resolution is what we were missing. He sees outside of the box and presents perspectives in the most unique way. I only wish we were lucky enough to have him at the start of our relationship. My relationship has improved in weeks and it’s only going up.
Five stars isn’t enough!

Dr. Thomas is thee most effective therapist I’ve experienced. His dynamic approach provides stimulating careful consideration and attention to the root of the problems. He always provides tangible actions and steps for my partner and I to take when not in session. I feel incredible open, vulnerable, and safe during our sessions. He is a gem of a therapist.

I have been with Dr. Bradley Thomas for a little over a month now, and I can honestly say I look forward to our Friday mornings. Very professional, and very understanding with my needs. We constantly look for the root of the issues and together find a way to tackle them in a productive realistic manner.

Therapy is a new thing for me. Dr Thomas has helped me explore certain triggers from my past and highlighted how these impact my thought processes today. He gives solid foundations for me to build on and ensures that I fully grasp what we are exploring. Dr Thomas makes sharing very comfortable and encourages openness. I have done both in person and video conference and both are great experiences. Dr Thomas is an excellent resource that I intend to continue to utilize. Have already seen a lot of growth in my day to day from several months of working with him. I wish I had started sooner. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Bradley has been a godsend. He is very easy to open up to and his positive energy is very welcoming. I cannot say enough about what he has done for me in a short period of time. I highly recommend his services no matter your situation. You will not be disappointed.

Dr. Thomas is in excellent therapist! He asks thoughtful questions to help me think deeper and to guide my own process, adding insights without judgement or telling me outright what I should do. We have also had conversations about the therapy itself, including me giving him feedback, which he was totally unflustered by and able to take in and consider in a really healthy way. I have long looked for a therapist who can talk about race and bias in a deep, compassionate way that integrates the historical/societal context with how racism lives in me, my feelings, choices and actions, and I've found that skill set in Dr. Thomas!

Dr. Brad is great to work with. Very impressed with his initial pre-visit call where he sought to gather information and explain his process. He always keeps your goals in mind and helps to keep working toward those goals. Already noticing substantial results after only a months of sessions and looking forward to continuing the progress made.

Dr. Thomas was easy to speak with and has very good listening skills, bringing up topics we spoke of weeks prior that I forgot that I shared with him. He always seem to read my mood each time we met. Dr. Thomas made me fee comfortable with anything we discussed. I have a very busy schedule so I appreciated how punctual he was.
