Getting to know Brandi Smith
My name is Brandi Smith, PMHNP-BC. I specialize in offering personalized mental health care for all ages. We will discuss and develop a plan that addresses your concerns. I understand it can be challenging to reach out for help, and I offer an approach that includes both therapy and medications. We can focus on medications and how they can benefit you. I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, trained at Walden University with a Master's in Nursing, providing services for ages 5 to adult that include therapy and medication. I offer a safe space for you or your child to discuss mental health concerns, with a focus on trauma-informed care, EMDR, and psychiatric medication management.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
In our first session, we will spend an hour focusing on concerns as well as discuss goals for treatment. I will see you through telehealth, which allows you the comfort of being in any private space of your choosing, oftentimes home but can also be a private space outside the home as well. I will discuss options for treatment, including medication as well as psychotherapy, including EMDR and CBT options and we will create a plan together to best meet your needs. The next appointments may be 30 minutes or 50 minutes, depending on the plan of care we select together, if it includes talk therapy and/or medication.

I believe Brandi is an intelligent psychologist. She knows her study and is so helpful in helping others. I highly recommend Brandi if you are needing to heal and wanting to learn how to move forward from grief or life difficulties.
